- r.n replies to lotusTry contacting high profile $ experts lije Suzie Ormond or other ones in the media or newspapers who have either email ,blogs etc for them to respond to tell u names of some reputable consolidation companies. Maybe u can actually call Dept of Education ...ask if they can suggest one. Good to be cautious..this company sounds like scam from what these other posts say.
- r.n. replies to Richard| 1 replyPlease read my response to Lotus ..u need to contact Dept of Education..find out if they received your payments from that company .If not ..if they did indeed scam u ,u must contact California State Attorney General's office..they look into fraud. I would also see if your major newscasters have program segment for consumers where u tell them your complaint and their experts look into it for u and sometimes put it in their news segment. Most major news outlets and cities have it..u can call the station n ask who it is and to be connected to their office. Also try looking up consumer advocacy groups. Now,if they're really w student loans ..this is truth bout how sleazy they are : student loan acts like your initial payment is fine but then try squeezing higher amount out of u to bully u. Most important thing to know is that if u can't pay them ..then DON'T ,because their clock starts ticking the moment u pay them a cent. Y is this important? Because if they put u in default ,they charge u 33 and a third % interest on student loan. Really punish u for being poor..that rate is PREDATORY ...basically loan sharking and was seen as illegal until banks started doin it after the stockmarket near crash in '08. Y I say dont pay if u can't is
- r.n replies to r.n.this: if u don't pay them for 7 years they must putt back down toward originally loan amount . So their job is to bully people into paying anything..even $5 to get that clock started ticking to pile up interest . Your credit might look bad but once they default u at 33% interest the mountain of debt piles up fast. Better to be current all other bills and not pay student loan for 7 years if they default u. This person we know who they did it to was struggling for years..after 7 years it was reduced back near original loan amount WITHOUT all the interst. But in meantime ,know that once u start paying they will keep trying to raise your payments ..so u must be firm ..please get advice from one of these $ experts on what to do.

- NancyS replies to ShirleyI think it is a scammer as well. We got 3 calls yesterday and today. No one says a thing when I or my husband say hello. I just blocked this number tonight. We're on the DNC list too for no solicitation. Don't even have a student loan--never went to college.

- Ashley FryI do not appreciate the calls from the reported phone number. I have answered the phone and have been hung up on each time. Someone has called me from this number over 5 times in the last 2 days. STOP CALLING!
- mg replies to PatThey asked for my street address and son and my fans a pin...I hung up once I figured it out...what should I do
- LauraThis number has called me numerous times today without leaving any messages to voicemail. I googled the number and found that others have also been called and that it is a scam.
- scamI received info on FB about student loan forgiveness. I talked to them for a little and when asked for my SSN I told them I was not comfortable giving that out without more info. They sent me more info and made an appt to call my back. I never heard back for a few days after my "appointment". They always call while I am at work and I won't answer while I am working. They never leave a message and call several times a day. Today I got two calls in 10 minutes. This is definitely not a reputable company! Going to have to block their number.
