This number has been calling me incessantly for weeks!  I finally answered on Saturday, and a man, in a very low voice, asked if he could speak to so-and-so (I couldn't understand what he said).  I told him he had the wrong # and hung up, and he called right back twice.  I also had signed up to see if I qualified for student loan relief, but I've talked to other student loan people who SEEM legit, but I have no idea.  This # has continued calling multiple times a day since Saturday and, like I said, for weeks prior to that.  What to do?!

How do they know our cell phone numbers? I got a missed call. Didn't want to call back the unknown caller then looked up this number and got your descriptive info. We are thankful for your courtesy by doing that.

Wish to have an option to block this scheme !

I keep getting unwanted calls from 949-272-4188 and I would appreciate it if this could be stopped.  My phone is on the do-not-call list and should not be getting any calls like this.  These people are in violation of law.

These student loan people are offering people consolidation deals for a FEE. Never use them. Everything they offer can be done for FREE by your own self in a matter of minutes. StudentLoan.gov is where you will go to do this. Look for your options in the left hand side bar of the site. Note: they ask for your FAFSA pin so they can get access to YOUR accounts, and then type in all the information that you can do by yourself, for Free.

I get this once or twice every other day I answer, no response, and hangs up after 10 or 15 seconds. I blocked the number.

This number keeps calling my cell phone!  I see the id  and I do not answer but it is annoying!

Quit calling me I don't want to talk to you people, obviously if I'm not answering your phone calls!!!

Been calling me constantly. I have applied for loan forgiveness due to medical issues. Loans are in deferment. The guy, Adam I believe, keeps saying that I need to pay $500+ to get the forgiveness. Never once has he mentioned what company he is with. I don't trust this.

This number calls and calls and if I block it another number different area code starts calling

I am very thankful for this company for Student Loan Helpline they help me to pay nothing towards my student loan... First I thought that it was a scam but later on I found out that I dont have to pay for my loans... Sometimes it might help if to listen.. So Thankful...

Yeah me too... so greatful that they help me out on my student loan.... now i save money to buy a new car...

You are a lying sack of sh#t. These kind of loans (advance fee) are illegal in the U.S. But that's not the point as the people making these calls just take your money and never give anyone a loan. It's an outright scam.

I keep getting these calls and I keep blocking the numbers a few days later they have a new number. It's very annoying. My mistake of clicking on the facebook post. They are a scam and it has been over 6 months. I've told tons of people to stop calling, take me off of your list, I don't have loan issues etc. to no avail. Please let everyone know not to respond to these posts and adds.

i appreciate the info, i got a missed call from this number, and before i could look it up they called again, yup, they are going on the rejected caller list

Has anyone had any luck in getting these people to stop calling.  I have reported them to Do Not Call as well as asking them to remove me from their call list.  The catch is that after I ask them to stop calling, there is a lull in the action and then the calls begin again from another number.  WAY BEYOND FRUSTRATING!!!
