- Mom| 1 replyThe caller ID said collegesurfing, but the woman said she was calling from College Bound regarding information my daughter requested about college programs. She knew my daughter's first name and home phone number, which is unlisted. I told the caller this sounded like a scam call and told her to wait - I asked my daughter and she knew nothing about the caller - when I returned to the phone the caller had hung up.
- NH Resident, MA Student| 1 replyFor the second day in a row, a number like this has called my cell phone. Yesterday, it was this number, 951-252-8950. Today it's this 951-252-8953. Did not answer, did not want them to know this is an active number. Anyone know anything about this number?

- College Advisor.| 1 replyi actually work for this company. the reason we call is because either someone requested for information a long time ago or its the wrong number. :) i love you all. collegebound.net
- camille| 1 replyThis is actaully a Call center that helps kids find college, the only way they can call you is by having your information from the site you fill your inforamtion out on... The call could be over a follow up that you requested information. COllegebound.com is the site! College surfing is the comapny.
- loverwe also do dish! :)
- College Advisor (Also)Students request college information; either a long time ago or recently. Bottom line. Don't get defensive (parents) your kids fill these out for help, and that's all we try to provide them is help. We know your information because you give it to us. It's to go to college. Are you college bound? Collegebound.net
- Platinum BABY!we also keep an eye out for all the older folk. seniors for living :) love you grandma! i hope ur reading this!
- College Advisory (Also - again)| 1 replyOk, and we ask for someone of a different name when you call in SOMETIMES because we are on a constant automated dialing system to call students. So, the lines cross. Take a chill pill and relax. Just provide your number so we can pull it up and answer your questions. NO - we CANNOT take it out of the system until you provide it. So, save a heart ache and get it over with. If you want an education, we'll be more than happy to help you. Collegebound.net
- Angie| 1 replyYeah those people called me because I was looking for a nursing school. They told me to search wintherace.com and I should get a list of all the schools in my area. So I did bit it was NO help at all. All it gave me was online classes. Your program totally sucks!!!!!

PS Hello to your grandma, too. I am certain you are just doing your job and reading the script like a good little automaton.

- Marissa replies to MomThey are very much legitimate! The Collegebound Network helped me find the right college, and I am very thankful. They have been around forever, more than 20 years, and my Mom used their assistance back in the 90s. What it is, a person requests information about colleges online and they call back to check on you, to see if that college got in touch with you or if you need more assistance finding the right college. They are great, and definintely not a scam! =)
- Marissa replies to NH Resident, MA StudentCollegebound Network, they are just trying to help you connect with a college. You probably looked up info online at some point about colleges. =)
