Same thing, just now.  Received a call from "UBC":  954-236-6083, foreign accented male who asked for someone (unknown male name)  who does not live here.  Nov. 16, 2016

HAHA!  Great response, Vivian!   Don't know about you, but I am getting really tired of all these strange calls and shenanigans from scammers.  I just ordered a canned "air horn" - hoping it'll help remove my land line number from their list.  I have little faith in the "Do-not-call" registry system these days.

The DO Not Call list is a joke. Has never stopped the scammers and never will. Our government has promised this will help but we have been on that list since about 2002 and it's just as poor as any other government agency. Wonder how much the taxpayers have paid into this inefficient agency so far. It is worthless. The calls get more and more numerous every month. I block them as they come in but only to be  replaced by more every day. This latest one has been blocked but they still try to call.. my phone doesn't ring for this number now but it does remind me they called...AGAIN!!!

Received a call from 954-236-6083, said my Citi Card had a $2,000. balance and had been turned over to UCB for collection, told  the caller I didn't have a Citi Card, she said  she had made a mistake, it was a Master Card, don't have one of those either, then ask for last four numbers of my SSAN, I ask her what she had so I could verify, she hung up.....

I don't want any call from this number, my family included.

I just get call from nice voice lady and told she is from collectors  I don't have collecton she asking for address I told her you have my address send me letter she keep asking me for informations I refused hung up the phone

Received a call from this number today and they left the following message:
"This is Sidney (Sifney?) Rowe and I have an important message from United Collections Bureau Inc. This is a call from a debt collector. Please call 1-800-925-9018."

This number, called my daughter's Phone in a different state trying to get MY contact information..

Received call from UCB requesting to speak with someone who I don't know. Woman on the line said my number was given as a contact. I was told they will remove my number from their contact information.  UCB is a debt collector.
Really annoyed that my number was given since they apparently don't want to pay their own bills

Didn't answer.  They left VM  says Debt collector

Is that possible? I would love to do something like that, lol. How did you do it?

Left a voicemail as Whitney from UCB, inc.  Want to collect a debt.  We have none.  CID says 954 236 6083 from FL, but callback is 877 305 8310.  ALLEGED debt collectors, most likely a scam as well.

Called my cell phone and left robo message. Sales holes.

This number called and left a vm saying they were a debt collecting agency, and I needed to call them back about about a debt. I Have no bills whatsoever. LOL!
