Is this some sort of social experiment?  Everyone here seems to explain the exact same problem we've been having - sometimes they call and no answer, sometimes they call and ask for someone in the house but then are rude and hang up if I say they aren't there.  At least 2 calls a day, sometimes up to 4.

My phone number has been on the do not call list over a year. I filed a complaint after asking to be removed from the list several weeks ago.

I've been getting call's every day from these people I never returned the call or picked up, but it is very annoying

I have received several calls from this number, and have ignored them all until today.  I called back the number and dialed "0" for the operator.  I very nicely explained that I was receiving calls from this number and understood it was a promotional offer.  She confirmed.  I simply told her that I spoke with a representative once and let them know I was not interested at this time.  The operator asked me if I asked the representative to remove my number, because the number is automatically dialed by a machine every so many hours.  I told the operator I was unaware I needed to do so and asked if she would be able to do that for me.  She was very nice when I approached it in this manner.  She told me this had been done and that I should not be receiving anymore calls, which is a relief.

I have gotten 5 calls in the past few days it rings 1-3 times and stops. when i call it back  the message say thank-you for calling the promotions dept we are currently closed please leave your name and number an d we will return you call.

THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING ME EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!! each time they call and wait a minute and then they hang up!!!!! My daughter answers the phone and yells at them and once started screaming at them.

Caller said we made large deposit on cruise in 2003 (!!) and was going to start taking payments off card.
Gave no details about what card, kept getting cut off and calling back...

After a week of annoying calls, I started to keep track of this numbers calling me: 12 times in the past five days!  I picked the phone up once and waited for the automated response to transfer me to someone, but it hung up prior to reaching a person.  As they are calling during the day, my boss finally asked me if it was a recruiter...I was so embarrassed at the idea.  I just want them to leave me alone!

I too have been receiving 5-6 calls a day, every day from this number.  There is absolutely nothing worse than picking up a phone, and having nothing from the other end, and several times a day at that.  I have called them back 3 times to be removed from this list, which I was leary to do in the first place as I did not know where the area code came from.  I have also contacted Bell.  Apparently, this number cannot even be blocked as it is not compatible with Bell.  What is the point of being able to block numbers if you are not able to block the numbers you want blocked?!!!

I also receive multiple calls a day from this company. My advice to everyone if you can do it, answer the phone and stay on the line as long as you can without buying anything. Distract them with questions about the weather, their hobbies, favorite color, whatever you can find to talk about. If you have spare minutes on your cell phones, call them back and again keep them on the phones as long as you can. For a company like this, minutes are money and the more minutes we can waste for them, the more money they lose in addition to time they can't spend calling to bother other people. This company ripped me off $400 for a supposed "free cruise" (they told me I had 3 years to use it, and after 18 months called me to tell me the time frame expired), and I appreciate any help I can get from everyone in making sure that $400 is not profit for them.

I receive multiple calls 6 days a week from this number. I normally don't answer unknown name calls. I did a couple of times just to see what happens. Well nobody never answers. I stop answering but the calls still show up on my phone as unknown nam. I don't know what else I can do.

I also got scammed by these people back in 2002, I just ended a relationship, was very down, they spoke so nice to me and talked of this fabulous trip yada yada yada. I paid $600. Never received anything or used the service. 2 years came and went and they called and wanted to extend my trip ay no cost for another year. Year came an went, called back and to make a long story short the supervisor and I came to an understanding that I would not be using their service, he said I would forfeit the money already paid. I said fine to be done with it. He said I will never hear back from them again, I said fine. It is now June 2010 and they are calling me again. This time it is the security dept threatening that they will ruin my credit if I dont pay the remainder ( I have no idea of how much) more they want and for what. I told him I have not herd fro this company for years and the understanding was that I had forfeited the $$ paid. Its no loss to them atall. They got a free $600. Now they call 3-5 times a day. I have caller display and do not answer. I have just now gone through the process of blocking the number. I hope it works. These people are pathetic.

Didin't answer but called later in is form some vacation company.

This number always calls our house at least once a day even though, we are on a "no call list".  Shows up at CCLUSA on phone.  There is never anyone on the line when recieved.
