i called and spoke to the operator and asked to be removed from their call list, the woman was actually very polite and cheerful surprised after what i read here but she said she would remove my number, thanked me and told me to have a nice day

On the morning of March 31st, I answered the call from 954-351-0087.  A woman on the other end said, "I'm sorry I have a wrong number."

A little while later, I received another call and when I answered the person hung up.  When it happened again, I didn't bother answering.  On April 1st, I received 4 more calls.  I figured it must be someone playing an April fool's prank.  On April 2nd, there were five more calls about 2 hours apart.  

On April 3rd, I went to the local Verizon Wireless store and was told that there was no way to block it.  I am on the Do Not Call list but this is evidently not in that category!  I received three calls on April 3 and another three calls today April 4th.

I set the number to a "no ring" setting.  Unfortunately, you don't get a ring but a loud sound alert.  So I lowered the volume.  At least with the alert sound, you know who it is and won't bother answering.

After reading this site, I decided to go online to check my account on Verizon to see if my minutes were being used.  While on the Verizon site, I checked on privacy/security and found that there is a way to block any number you wish.  I immediately put the 954-351-0087 to be blocked.

So you might want to check with you provider online, especially if you're told by a rep that there are no such capabilities.  You need to research for yourself because sometimes they just don't know!!!

If they are calling and asking for personal information, especially your DOB, SSN, Credit Card number or Bank Account number...it is a SCAM!

I don't answer this call.

they call me all the freaking time, at least three times a day every day. when i answer there is no one there. who the [***] is doing this and how did they get my number

While I was on the phone with them, I did a reverse look-up and found the company BESM, Inc.  When he finished telling me about a cruise package I "won", I told him I would not provide a credit card number to anyone without first investigating the company with the Better Business Bureau.  The caller transferred me to his boss who was very rude and told me I could look at that website and that should be good enough.  I asked if I could call back and redeem the offer should I find them to be reputable.  He almost yelled and said "Look, we only make one call per winner.  Your loss!" and slammed down the phone.

I've been receiving calls from this number 5 to 6 times a day for the last three weeks. I pick up and no one is on the other end.  Quickly they hang-up after I pick it up.  No voicemails are left either.  I want these people BLOCKED!!!!

The caller at 954-351-0087 has called me everday for the last like 3 weeks! I didn't answer until today. I didn't talk to the lady though. She never leaves messages either.

Since your posting was the most recent, I wanted to know if they indeed took you off their list.  I just got a new phone 3 days ago and have already had two calls from this Ramada Plaza.  I can only guess that the cell phone companies are selling these new #'s for profit as I Never gave them my # or even had the desire to look into Florida time shares.

They did the same thing to my fiancee and I. About the time we moved into our new apartment and got our phone turned on, we began to get calls from this number with the caller ID 'BESM'. They explained that we had been randomly selected to win a free cruise, our only expense the transportation. At first it sounded really nice and I was thinking,"ok, maybe this is legit." But as soon as the representative asked for our credit card number i got a feeling this was a bad idea. I hung up the phone and did some research online. I was surprised at what i read about so many people being ripped off by this very company. They started calling on a daily basis, sometimes twice a day. I finally told them(for some reason they thought i was still interested.) to put me on their no call list today. So maybe they got the message. A word of advice to anyone out there who gets offered something "free". It probably isn't free if they want your credit card number. That's so they can charge your card for whatever they want and make you go through hell trying to get it back.

Alayna is my fiancee and there is another number for this "BESM" everyone is speaking of. The number is 954-513-3069. Dont listen to anything they have to say.

I stupidly agreed to go on one of their vacations and put down a $87 deposit. I received a packet in the mail and was told during the phone call that if I decided not to take the vacation, I would just forfeit the non-refundable deposit and that was it. Well, just so has it, I no longer plan to take the vacation since my husband has lost his job. These ignorant people called me and one rude b*t%h talked me as though I owed them money. She insisted my account was "delinquent" [like a creditor]. When I told her the sales agent said I have no liabilities, she continued talking down to me saying she was from the collections department. She said that I was responsible for all cost (totaling about $1200.00) because they held my passage at the discounted rate and they had to pay the cruise line. She also insisted that even if I didn't pay by my deadline and didn't go on trip, I still owed them money.

There is major miscommunication among departments with this nagging company. I called the customer service department who reassured me I owed nothing.
All of this was almost a year ago, and I'm still getting phone calls to this day! I don't answer!

these jerks again---I assume it's a fake pharmacy or some other type of scam.

If you give your number out for anything they are allowed to give your number to any other company there are connected with since it is seen as you giving them permission to bug the day lights out of you.... Really when I give somebody my business they repay me by trying to drive me nuts so I will spend more money but it only makes me want to go elsewhere next time I buy something... So anytime you give your number to a company or on any form on line then it basiclly voids the do not call list you are on with any of their companies. and it really should not be legal for any business to call you and not leave a number for you to call back and they should not be able to have a recording when you answer. I cannot stand to answer my phone to a recording, if they want to talk to me that bad then there needs to be a person on the phone when I answer...

Within the past week I have received 4-5 calls a day from 954-351-0087.  The person never say anything but hang up when I answer.  I have to answer the phone because it is a business.  I called the number which states it Promotions, Inc and asked them to remove my number from their list. I will wait and see if they will remove the number. It is so ANNOYING!

The same number called me 4 times this week and the next timew they call i am taking action against them and getting the autthorities in that town and reporting them that way .

calls every night around 7pm never answer after i first answered called the number back no answer, would like the calls to please stop

I just received a call from this number but I was not available to answer. I am unemployed and looking for a job so I called thinking that it was a possible employment opportunity. I was unaware of the company/entity that was behind this number. I hope this doesn't reflect any added charges on my cell phone bill.
