I received a call on my cell phone from this number - no message was left.

I just received a call from the same number (954-370-6846) and message was left - it was the high-pitched blare of a fax machine.  Frustrating!

I recieved a call on my cell phone on Tuesday March 25th,2008 at 9:09am before I could get to the phone, it had stopped ringing and no message was left. I am also signed up with the DO NOT CALL Registry which does not help one bit. Is there any way of stopping these type of calls?

me too they did not leave a message, I am on the no call list (cell phone) and when I called back it said the number had been disconnected.

I just received a call from the same number, it was a recorded message saying "this is your credit card company, don't worry your account is in good standing however, if you wish to lower your interest rate push 1 or 7 to disconnect.  I hung up, and then called the same number back it says it is a disconnected or nonworking number.  I would suggest not answering a call from this number.

just got this call as well. said it was our car warranty was about to expire??

Call rec'd Tues 3/25/08 at 10:30 am ... 954-370-6846 Ft Lauderdale Fl.  Pre-recorded message to which I could not disconnect.  Stated that it was in reference to my credit account, that there was no problem but to contact them ASAP to save yadda, yadda, yadda.  I hung up.  COME ON PEOPLE - doesn't the Do Not Call list mean anything ???

Same number, same message about the credit card.  You can report this to the do not call website.

Just got a call 1 minute ago at 10:43. Didn't pick up. I googled the number and this came up

Received a call a couple of minutes ago from this number. Did not answer but looked the number up after getting no voice mail. Found this site from google and don't plan on calling it back. Apparently the do-not call list is pointless.

THE CREEPS ARE TRYING TO SELL AUTO MAINTAINCE INSURANCE. IT IS A WAY TO CALL PEOPLE ON DO NOT CALL LISTS AND NOT GET IN "LEGAL" TROUBLE.

Just got a call about 5 min's ago. Saidf this is your credit card co, etc etc. That's funny I don't have a credit card. I wish somebody would hurry up and invent a button on phones that would fry the other end.

We have been getting calls from this entity for a while now.  Today, my wife pressed the button and calmly told the guy to take us off their call list.  The guy totally lied and said that she was yelling at him. She explained that she was not yelling, and this was her 3rd request to be taken off their call list. He again insisted that she was yelling, and "that's probably why we haven't taken you off the list is because you are yelling at us".

She told him they would definitely hear some yelling if they called again.  Then he hung up on her.

This is so strange... I also received a call from that number this morning...

Received the call at 11:34 am, I Googled the number and found this site.  Might be related to a notice I got in the mail trying to sell an extended warranty on my car.
