I just recieved this call as well but with no message... March 25, 2008 5:30 pm Eastern

I received the call @ 4:22 pm with same message about lowering your interest rate on your credit card.I waited for a live person, which asked if I owe more than $4,500.00 in debt..I said no & they hung up on me..Thought someone should no not to response to this number...

Calls to my phone from these numbers below, her name is Debbie I dont remember the last name but I was waiting for her to call again which she did, she is a telemarketer to OBTAIN YOUR name, CREDIT CARD number and expiration to see if you qualify for a low rate on your credit card!  to qualify you must owe between $3000,00 to 50,000 So I play a game to lern more info as I spoke.   For all to know never give anyone your personal info or Credit card, BUT you need to play with them to obtain more information on them first, LEARN by squirreling around to see where they are from and other phone numbers

These phone numbers are disconnected she called from these numbers just days ago, 3-21-08 3-25-08

This is the same recorded message that came from a different number last month. It is a fraudulent, criminal and illegal operation - trying to scam people into providing credit card information. Do not fall for it. The donot call list will not protect you from non-company criminals breaking the law in the first place, and that press 2 to remove DOESN"T work. You'll get the call again and again. We need the Broward police department to track them down, unless they are simply forwarding thec calls from somewhere else to hide their true location.

Just got that same call; I didn't answer and they did not leave a message. When I googled it, this site was the first result...stupid scammers!

I just got a call from this number on my cell about 9 minutes ago. I assumed it was one of these scam numbers, but I figured to answer it anyway. Of course, I got a pre-recorded message about the credit card BS (Funny.. They think you'll believe it, when you don't even have a credit card...) and to press 1 to speak to a representative. I pressed 1 and got a guy on the line, I asked kindly for a name and he automatically hung up on me. I put my cell on the do not call list weeks ago to avoid getting these ANNOYING calls. I thought they finally quit, but I guess not. It's getting RIDICULOUS. I'm at work, I don't appreciate getting these calls.

Received recorded call and advised to press 9 for my cruise that I have just won.  I too am on the do not call list.  Call at 5:21PM CDT

954-370-6846 has called my home phone again.  I have contacted the Colorado Do Not Call list when these folks have called me before.  It's not worth my time any more to contact the Do NOt Call List because they do nothing about it.  If I change my number the harassers (Is thre such a word?) have gotten their way - If I don't change my number, they still win.  Any suggestions?

Anyone have any clue how these companies get our cell phone numbers? Maybe that's a stupid question, but it really just boggles my mind.. I'm 19 years old, I shouldn't be having damn scammers calling my cell phone. My hell....

(954) 370-6846 -- 3/25/2008 at 12:23 PM.  This number called again.  I am trying to sell my house and this irritating message from someone calling about "my" credit card is embarrassing.  I do not have a credit card. Turning them in to the Do Not Call list seems to have no impact.

Received a call from (954) 370-6846 on my home phone too, at 3:45pm CDT. My husband did not answer and no message was left.

Call received today 2:44 central time. Left no message.

Just got a phone call from 954-370-6846.  I answered the
phone a little gruffly... I don't think that the "prerecorded" message was really prerecorded by the way it
responded to my "Hello!"  Then I got a woman who I asked what
the name of the company was... "Financial Services"  I stated that I would not give her any credit card numbers because they called me.  She hung up.

got a call from this number... had a plus (+) infront of it too... maybe my blackberry does that... i answered and no one answered...

ok, so they called my house today. i have been sick and was taking a nap. well when they called they talked about lowering my interest rate on my credit cards. the man asked me how much credit card debt i have, i told him i have none. he said, wait, you don't have any credit cards, i told him no. he said, oh i'm sorry we should take your number off. he put me on hold and told me the phone calls would stop..

give it a try, tell them you have no credit cards :) it worked for me..

I received the same call minutes ago.  I don't have a car warranty, and my cell phone number is on the do-not-call list.  How they got my cell number, I have no idea.

I just got the call at 7:21 PM in Texas on Tuesday.

I just got this call from these people. I crossed my fingers, and pressed 1.
A woman answered quickly, saying the name of some company I didnt hear well enough to understand.
Her first words after that were: "Did you press 1 to recieve a lower interest rate?"  I said NO, I am wondering how you got my number, and why you are claiming to be from my credit card company. Who do you work for?
She replied "Sir, we work with the 4 major credit card companies: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American express"
I said,"But you Don't work for my specific credit lender, do you?"

Surprisingly, she said No.

I told her I am Not interested in any fraud she is trying to commit, and to take me off the calling list since I am on the national do not call registry.
She said OK and hung up.
