just got the same call from the Ft. Lauderdale area.  Did no answer then 'googled'. the number and found his site.  glad to now i am not alone.  btw, the NRA calls a lot too.

Received the same call.  Since it was not solicited by me I don't think they should have the right to steal my minutes or text.

called twice today and everyweekday last week.  tired calling back to get taken off of list and get message saying number is 'disconnected'.  obviously a scam if you can't call them back.  I hope they get a rash!

Just got this call today and it was about a credit card, same story as above, telling you that there is no problem but they can lower your interest rate.Same number called me a couple of days ago telling me my auto warrenty was about to expire.

These people are scam artists looking fro suckers.

As soon as I asked the name of their company they hung up immediately.

I just the call at 11:43 PST from the same caller and automated message about my credit card being in good standing. I pressed 1 so I could speak to someone. A male who would not give his name was actually trying to solicit negotiating with my credit card companies to lower my already low interest rates. He asked how much credit card debt I have (I told him a little over $100,000) at which point he asked me how long I thought it would take me to pay it off, I told him 4-6 months (total bs). At that point he started giving me the difference in interest I would save based on his guess at what my actual interest rates were. He claimed to be able to save me between $6-8,000 dollars in interest over those 6 months. At that point I asked him which credit card company he was with at which point he started to stumble with every word he said. During the 10 minute conversation I never did get him to give up his name or the name of the company. Finally I asked him if he was a bank employee or just someone who was acting as a sub-contractor trying to get peoples credit card info. Amazingly at that point he hung up on me mid conversation.

For those who have not tried to call the number back, it is a working number, on first call I got an answering machine with the typical machine generated message on it. I hung up and immediately called back and actually had someone answer the phone, at that point I played dumb and told him that I was calling back for the gentleman that was talking to me about lowering my credit card interest because we had gotten disconnected. As soon as I finished saying disconnected guess what happened, "DISCONNECTED" again. My computer is now automatically calling the number back every 3 minutes with a recorded message of my own. Lets see how long he keeps this number. Yes, I have nothing better to do than mess with scammers and for Mr. "phone call" above me, it would not surprise me to find out that you are the one I was talking to.

I've been getting these calls for a few months now, and got the latest one this morning.  Yesterday I pressed "1" to stay on the line and talk to a rep, and he was a totally uneducated guy who couldn't even read his script.  When I said, "Take me off your call list, this is a cellphone," he hung up on me mid-sentence.  So today when they called back I played along for awhile, asked what they could do for me and my interest rate, and when they started talking I said, "How about you take me off all your call lists right now."  And the woman laughed, then said "You wish," and hung up on me.  How is this legal?  I wish I had the computer auto-caller the previous poster has because I'd totally phone-spam them in return if I could.

I just got a call from this number wanting to assist me in lower my APR on my credit cards.  I get one every week.  It says if yo uwant to continue and talk to an agent press 1, so I did that and when someone came o nthe line I told them I did not appreciate the calls - he just hung up.

I got a call from this number. All the guy would say is: "Do you want to lower your interest rate?" and when I pushed for who the heck they are, he just repeated the question. When I said "No, not if I don't know who you are", he got rude and just hung up.  
NOT legitimate. DON'T give them ANY information!!
