Portfolio Recovery says she is collecting a debt from 20 years ago.

Has called a few times, not thinking I picked up (have family in FL) this was listed as Ft. Laud Florida btw.  It is Portfolio Recovery, trying to collect on a debt over 15 years old at this point.

Called me about debt in 2002, told her the debt had been taken care of in a bankruptcy in 2003 she said that did not matter she had to collect on it, I told her I would contact my attorney and she hung up on me

Can someone figure out a way to start sending calls their way? God, thank you for allowing me to never have to seek employment from this company...can I hear an "Amen". Thay nk you to the man/woman who invented both caller ID, answering machines and cell phones.  Must make this company take a deep dive into their $ pool.
They keep calling about someone with our last name, who, is in the state pen for killing his wife. No relation, just same odd last name. Has been going on for years.
I would imagine, these are the most sad people in the whole world. They should move to CO or WA where they could at least purchase a joint to make through the work week to get a check. UGH

Getting calls from Portfolio Recovery and also this number. They have been trying to get money out of us for years now. Bunch of con artists the lot of them.

crap, another portfolio scumbag number it seems...i have a daughter in florida, almost answered until i looked at number on caller id.  not my daughters number and no msg. on answering machine either.

They called here a few minutes ago and I didn't recognize the #. I let the call go to voicemail and they didn't leave a message. I immediately googled the # for info. Thanks, I really appreciate that other people do the same thing!!!

9:10 am -  call from Ft.Lauderdale, Fla.    Didn't answer -- googled the ph# and see above comments.  I agree -- a new ph# for those creeps.

Yet another of some 225+ phone numbers that these slimeball Portfolio Recovery people use to coerce folks to pay on canceled debt. I owe you nothing... statute of limitations ran out some 25 years ago, along with the marriage that disintegrated then, too...

I got a call from Portfolio Recovery from this number on my home phone, then they called me on my cell phone from this 561 246 6482. They are claiming that they are a collection company for Citi Bank and I haven't had an account with them since the early 90's and I had paid them off in the late 90's. Still have my receipt for it.

yes,me too the same.so it is portfolio recovery and not leaving a message and this number isn't even on the long list of numbers I already have for them.So chicken s___t! what is the point? Not like they're going to get money from all of us,lol....ha,ha! their waste of time.You think they would know better,unless it's a prank...either way,they lose.
