Keep getting calls from them even though I have received legal documentation from them that the debt had been dismissed!  I don't pay any attention to them but now I'm having to convince my elderly parents not take calls from them because the d-bags are now targeting them (because I don't respond to the calls).  Apparently getting legal help doesn't do anything because these bottom feeders multiply like cockroaches.

My dad got a call from these people so I called them back. They never asked who I was but yet they shared all sorts of his personal information with me. On top of that this debt was never proven to be his & is about 15 years old. Needless to say for several years now they have been calling on & off. It doesn't matter what you say to them, they keep calling. If I had the money I'd file a law suit.

Called and told me they are trying to collect on a Captial One account. Ive never had a Capital One account EVER, so I told her that, and then she asks me to verify the last 4 of my SSN. I hung up. Sounds like a scam to me. Not cool.

This 954-606-9402  called, with Caller ID   Portfolio Recovery .... I click talk, the immediately click end, trying to fool their auto callers.   It has been years since I receive their calls, for someone else.   They called my home multiple times, in the past month from different numbers, and only called twice from one number,

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of the date of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

This is from a collection company in New Jersey and they will stop at nothing lawful to collect!!

PRA routinely violates most provisions of the fdcpa like trying to collect bankruptcy discharged debt and they are quite aware of what they are doing, this is their business model they have learned that they get more revenue from it than they pay out in fines our justice dept is more concerned with political correctness and going after conservatives than to actually go after firms that do this if you look at this business model logically they should be charged under the Rico act

Call from...954 606-9402..do not know anyone with this number, therefore it is another one of those damn robo calls.  They did not leave any message....

These moron, bottom feeders called me three times today (8/21/15), beginning at 8:40 a.m. I do not owe any money nor do I know (or care) who they are looking for. Called from three different area codes and three different numbers. Of course, I never answer because they will see it as a viable number and just continue to try to get someone to pick up. Portfolio jerks, cannot wait until you are out of business. Hope the latest lawsuit stands and you have to shell out MILLIONS!!!!!

Been getting calls from PORTFOLIO RECOVERY.  As soon as I block a number I get calls from another number, so far of the 12 numbers allowed to block TEN are Portfolio Recovery numbers.
I answered 1 x when I had my old number, the person was looking for someone I never heard of in all my born days.  When I said so she called me a LIAR!  Yelled at me that I was the person and had to pay them several thousand dollars!!  I am far too old and frail to have to put up with such rudeness.
Now they are calling on my NON PUBLISHED number which I've had not even a month.  Again looking for some man this time and again yelled at me that I am a liar.
Reporting to my state attorney general due to being on the DO NOT CALL list is a waste of my time and I'm sure a waste of my tax dollars.
Way too old to be putting up with this nonsense.  I have NO debt, don't believe in using a CC for more than I can pay in full each month.  I ONLY carry that 1 plastic card so as not to have to have more than 10 dollars in my purse AND I use just one card just in case my purse is stolen, if so I have just ONE company to call.  As I said I am old and we elder folk do not believe in spending more than we can afford.

Scumbags keep calling and don't leave messages.  I see from here that it is Portfolio.  Keeping track of all the calls and then going to the FCC.  If everyone would do this, maybe the FCC would see that we have a problem here.

I tell them I have Tourette's Syndrome and if they don't mind putting up with my swearing at them I won't mind listening to their Bull S**t.  That usually sends them running for cover.

I do not answer unknown numbers.  Someone called today at 4:10 PM and when my answering machine picked it up they hug up.  The caller ID said Portfolio Recovery.  Portfolio Recovery has also called us from the following phone numbers:
