Calls saying this call is being recorded then asks for my 7 year old son... Then tells me three people with my sons name live there..

another spoofed portfolio recovery number, caller id said florida call . they hung up on answering machine..

Constantly calling but never leaves a message and I don't recognize the number so I guess they'!!

These parasites continue to call my number for another person who is unrelated to me and my number. They will NOT listen to facts, reason, logic and are simply bullies. I'd like to kill the b*tch who keeps calling me very early before I wake up.

Just received call from this Florida #.  They ask for person who does not live at the # they are calling.  They don't believe you & keep calling back!

They call from multiple phone numbers: 817-479-9154, 954-606-9402, 620-263-3537 and 859-286-9557. They do not answer me when I say hello twice. Believe me, I give them plenty of time to answer. It has been multiple calls with multiple numbers. Nothing but dead air. I'm reporting them to the FCC......

The correct number is 859-586-9557!!!!

They are some sort of Debt Collector Portfolio Recovery.  I am thinking must be some sort of scam artist because real Debt Collectors do not just call and hang up if there is an answering machine they leave a message.  (Although there are phony debt collectors that leave messages as well).  BUT if the person really intended to get in touch with us they would leave a message especially when they have called a number of times now and noone answers!

They have been calling me saying my husband owes money to his college. He is getting ready to turn 50 next week has not been in college for years. Are you kidding me? This is crazy.

Demand validation. No validation, no debt. It's that simple.

keeps calling, hangs up after 4 rings, leaves no message

I feel for Bridget who got slammed by Portfolio Recovery a day or so ago... I just got 3 calls in a two-minute span from this place called Portfolio Recovery... I don't know them, nor do I owe them, but to be called so much by them is ridiculous...

Just block the number. That's what we do. They harassed my late BIL for an unvalidated debt until we sicced the IRS on them for turning in a bogus 1099-C. Now they are harassing his widow for a out-of-statute debt.

They called my business number which apparently belonged to two people who had debt.  They hung up when I answered.
