I called this number from an untraceable line. When I connected, I got a recorded business message referencing Apria Healthcare. I have no business with Apria Healthcare, so this is not a legitimate call--something else is going on.

According to Google, this number does not match any public number for Apria Healthcare.

So...some mentally challenged dweeb created a fake Apria Healthcare recording, so callers think this number is legitimate when they call. Actually, when a caller returns the call and gets the fake Apria Healthcare message, their phone number is recorded as active and the caller is tagged as [responsive].

Scammer(s) then sell the caller's number to anyone (including criminals) who finds value in active phone numbers, especially ones that have responsive call recipients.

Apria is actually a legitimate business...  they do CPAP stuff...

This number DOES belong to Apria, I know this to be a fact because I do business with them and this is the number that they call me from on a regular basis...though  they never leave a message.

I keep getting calls every day from this number, probably 10 times now and I am supposed to be on the National do not call registry and no one I know has my new number.  Must be collection agency calling whomever the former own was?

The number, 971-217-9927, is a legitimate number for the Apria Healthcare company.  It is one of their billing telephone numbers. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, so I marked this one as Apria. Next time they called, I answered. I was two months behind in my payments to them for my oxygen concentrator, due to a screw-up with my bank. The issue has been corrected.

If you do business with Apria, answer the call and find the details. If you do not have an account with them, answer it anyway and inform them if they are trying to contact the former owner of your phone number. If they sdon't believe you and continue to call, block them.

I concur that it is Apria - I am a caregiver for a gentleman who had Apria service for two months prior to hospice care.  The bill should have been paid by Medicare, however, it has not been done yet.  I have contacted them several times to no avail.  I just ignore the calls now.

Received a call from this number saying to prevent further collection efforts I need to pay for services rendered. I called the Apria billing department at their 866 number. Person I spoke to said there's no issue with my account and I have no outstanding balance. She said to disregard the other call.

I have used Apria for cpap supplies for years. It's either a scam or their billing system has a problem.

This is April ~ I have blocked all their calls because they call with "Private Caller" or "Unknown" caller on our caller ID ~ if they can't identify themselves I will not tolerate their calls.  They are the worst home healthcare business ever and their billing practices are inept!

Their billing department is a sham! Completely inept

ACUCALL is the caller I.D. for 1-971-217-9927 but the voice mail references Apria Health Care regarding an outstanding bill asking me to call the number to make arrangement for full payment or go to epay.apria.com and pay with a credit card. After the 4th call over 9 days,  I called the 1-866 number on the Apria website & talked to "Brenda" who told me I have no outstanding charges. She was not interested in my harassing phone calls, only intent on finding out if I had any outstanding charges--it's been years since I've had a cpap delivered, paid in full through Kaiser. It was obvious that my complaint to the Apria representative about the harassment weren't going anywhere. From the other complaints I've read, it's obvious Apria needs to clean up their act!

First call traced back to New York, the call today traced back to Beaverton, Oregon.
She said i had a $200.00 outstanding balance. My Apria account was closed last March, 2017. She was collecting for a balance from September 2016!!!  In September 2017 They found they had over charged me and had to refund my balance.
The number showed up on # ID as 11-917-217-9927, I am sure they will call again.

This number called my folks and left a message stating it was apria health and to call before they turn them over to collection.  This is bogess.  Do not give them any information.

"Apria Healthcare" called and left a message (robo call) saying that a debt needed to be paid. No particular person was asked for, which was weird. I have no business with this company at all. The number listed was ACUCALL, not an actual number.

This is a legitimate Apria number I updated my payment information with them and today my CPAP supplies arrived by Fed Ex.  They should improve their caller ID.
