This is a real number for Apria health care but, it is abysmal customer service. Firstly, the damned caller ID should SAY. Apria.  Secondly, when you call back, the automated system should connect you with who you are trying to reach the first time instead of cycling you back through the menu more than once.

I keep getting calls from Apria, however I have no business with them what so ever. I’ve answered before and told them they have the wrong number but they continue to call me.

This is a scam. If you get a call from this number go to the Apria website and call the legitimate billing department number listed. As suspected, Apria said I didn’t have an account associated with them. I’ve never used any of their medical equipment. This billing number isn’t listed anywhere. The voicemail they leave is generic and automated and contains no information about you. The reviews saying this number is legit are likely the scammers themselves trying to get you to call. Anyone can leave a review here. Go to their real website and call the real number.

Do you REALLY think that the callers will read this and actually STOP calling you?  Especially since you left no name and/or callling number?

Ya they called me. I am dealing with apria but this could have been a scam. Although they did have my home address, so I don't know what's going on. I just told them I'm in connect with apria at a local site and didn't give them anymore info. They were asking for my date of birth but I didn't give it to them.

An awful lot of nitwits claiming this call is real over the last couple of years. Some even claiming they have received many calls from this number, so why are they looking it up?

Recieved two calls after published hours for Apria. Message is as follows:
"if you would like to enter a credit card for future purchases please call 971-217-9927 or go to ebay.apria.com."

Now I do business with Apria when they send my stuff out which isn't very often. They don't like to fill orders it seems. However, why would they not have an 800 number for me to call back on? This would be a long distance call if I did not have included long distance. Also, what does ebay have to do with Apria?

Absolutely positively has to be a scammer pretending to be Apria.

Just got a call from this number, a recorded message saying my account with Apria is going to collection unless I call back and pay with a credit card.  Scam!  No account, and no equipment!

Well today we have an update on these calls. It appears it is Apria. I received 4 calls over the last two months. Each one of them with only a partial message. I misunderstood the web address as it is epay and not ebay. So, I took the time to run this number and found out it is actually a debt collection call. Ok, so I don't owe them anything because they have never sent me a bill and the two orders they did fill they said my insurance covered it 100%.  Of course these are the thrillas in Manilla. So, out of desperation I foolish called this number back. Got the morons in the Philippines. First one could not understand a word that I said and it was reciprocal.  So I told him I wanted someone in the US. Transferred me to some female claimed that she was the Spanish line and was in Tennessee. Yeah, right!  Then transferred back to the Philippines where they played some more games. Couldn't understand me, couldn't hear me, etc. Wasted almost half an hour with these clowns.  All of a sudden, I get a statement from them saying that I owed money. No reason given and the back side which was supposed to have a detailed accounting did not. It did say that my payment was overdue even though the due date is the 15th.

Boy, I think their VP is in for a shock when he gets my letter on Monday. They want to play games, well I can play them back a lot better.

I confirm also that this is Apria. They are criminals! We rented a cough assist from them (daughter never actually needed it so we returned it after they withdrew a payment of over 300 from my account right at Christmas. It turned out our insurance declined it but instead of notifying us, Apria just took the money. They still claim we owe them over 300 when we were told we had paid in full in December when we returned it.

I concur that this is a Apria billing number.  I have been trying to straighten out errors in my billing for the past three months and I finally received a call from this number with ApriaHealthcare listed on caller id and a person with a foreign accent who was able to explain my account.  When you call local billing numbers they are totally useless and can do nothing to help explain their screwed up billing systems. I had an Apria billing person tell me she had no manager I could speak to when she could not explain my statements to my satisfaction.  Apria phone billing never matches their on-line or paper statements, or my Visa Apria payments.  What a mess our health care system is in since Obama Care screwed everything up.

I get at least three of these calls a week.    I think it might be Apria but the guy repeated himself three times and I could not understand him.    He said he just wants to verify information.    I asked where he is from and he said not in the United States.     I told them if this is about a bill to please have a supervisor call that people in the United States can understand their English.

They won't transfer you to anyone in the States.  They are Philippians.  Total idiots.  They will call you up repeatedly asking for the same information as well.  I had to contact their main office in California to get them to stop.  Good luck with that outfit, you are going to need all the luck in the world with them.

I love that! Philippians! That's kind of like "Lilliliputians". Actually they're Filipino Total Idiots & they're damn near as cheap to hire as there counterparts in the lowest rent districts of India. As India gets a worse & worse reputation, other places will try to take up the slack. Like, That's gonna' work...

Yeah, I have unfortunately dealt with them.  Spent 27 minutes one morning listening them say that they couldn't understand me and of course I couldn't understand them.  They kept transferring me to another one of their cubicle nitwits.  They even had a girl come on and claimed she was in Tennessee.

The first time I had a problem with them I asked the one girl, "Where is Customer Service located?"  Her reply, "I don't know".  So I asked, "Aren't you customer service?"  She said, "Yes".  I then said, "So you don't have a clue where you are?"  She said, "No".  So I said, "Well what is the name of the town you are in?" The she finally said, "Manila".

I think these people get paid by the number of phone calls they handle.  That's why they keep transferring you to other cubicle nitwits.  I had the same problem years ago when my mortgage was with Citibank and they used the Indian nitwits for customer service.

Apria just called me about an outstanding balance from this number.  They had all the pertinent information on us, our name, address, phone number, date of birth of patient, but were trying to get a credit card to pay last month's bill that we have not yet received in the mail.  I told them "forget it, I pay our bills on schedule when I receive the itemized statement in the mail".  I asked them when the bill they were trying to collect on over the phone was mailed to me and was told it was February 1st, just five days ago.  I told them they should wait for their statements to be delivered before trying to collect over the phone.  They also offered me a discount if I would pay now??? Very suspicious.  I think there are some scammers, entrenched within Apria, scamming their customers for credit card information..
