This company calls my cell, place of business, and family members leaving voice mail messages indicating they work for our local court system and are calling to notify me they are serving papers to me at my place of work or residence and that I have been "legally notified".
I have sent their voice mail recordings to my attorney (which handles these issues at no cost thru my employment), and all appropriate consumer protection agencies due to their continued violations of the FDCPA.
The phone number they ask me to call back is 855-424-2039.

This is yet another in a series of phone calls from debt collectors looking for Gregory Wilson.  I've been getting calls for him from debt collectors  for almost as long as I've had my phone number (more than 8 years).  I tell these debt collectors I don't know him, but they continue to call.  Sometimes I won't hear from any of these companies for months, then they start up again.  I suspect this Wilson had my number at one time and he continues to list it as his number so the debt collectors can't find him.  There is a toll-free number for Portfolio Recovery (800-772-1413) where you can speak to a customer service person.

Talking to a debt collector and trying to get them to stop calling is useless.  They simply think that you are the person they are looking for and trying to dodge them.  You have to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter.  Use this link to learn everything you need to know to make the calls stop permanently:

"Well known to violate every collection law on the books, which is good news for you.  You can not only make them pay you, you can also make the calls stop and learn where to report them as well.  All you need to do is follow what I have written here:  https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-859-340-1606
