Unwarranted call on cell phone.

Stevens Business Services is a crude, haunting and relentless debt collector. There is big bucks in debt collections. They 'buy' all over due debt for a couple of cents on the dollar and will due anything to collect it.

Lets say a person owes $200 in utilities. SBS buys this bill for $20 and uses automated calling to collect $175 to $180

I have been receiving calls from this number (978-458-8336) for a few months.  Usually they come in threes.  One where they identify themselves and in the next two they hang up before the message on the machine is finished.

I don't answer the phone anymore.  If someone wants to reach me he or she can leave a coherent message.

My wife pays all the bills and she has meticluous records.  If Stevens Business Service wants to extort some money from me they can send a clear and itemized bill.  Then, I can use that to bring charges against them with the FTC for using the Mail Service to commit fraud.

i got a call from this # 978-458-8336  ...didnt answer my phone tho only answer 2 my family an friends who leave a message on my anserin machine  .  how i got the # i dialed star 69 an this number came up as the caller .  i dont have any bills i dont owe anything on my bills ther always paid on time . i want who ever this person or place is 2 leave me alone an stop the harassin phone calls w/ me i dont need ther b/s .

Received a call from this number. Left a voice mail for me to call them.They were looking for a debt.

Call was for a person I do not know who used to live here, very rude, still calling leaving nasty very detailed messages. This has got to stop!

Was told to call this number to speak to someone about a personal matter.  Also came up 1-978-458-8336 and SBS on caller id.  Have no idea who this is.  Very annoying and harassing. Received numerous calls from this number.  After doing some research on internet, this is what I found:

Thy call and its a recording for me to call them back.. It takes alot of gumption to be that ballsy..

I am getting 2 or 3 phone calls a day on my cell phone from this company.  It is always a woman and she shouts into the phone.  It is harassment at this point!  I will be reporting them

Automatron said I need to call them back immediately regarding an important business something or another I can't remember. Gave me the option to call back or to press 1 to speak with someone immediately. I hung up.

I couldn't understand a word they Said. Did not give out any info..I am sick of their calls.they never stop.

You can also send them a cease and desist letter. By doing so they can no longer contact you by phone or mail. The reason they do not leave messages is so they can continue to call all day long. At my former employer we could only leave a message during the last hour prior to 9pm. If they call your employer, tell them to never contact you at the number again and they have to stop calling that number.

Stevens Business Services DOESNT buy the debts- they are hired by the companies, who still own thier own debt. stupid [***]. pay your [***] bills.
