- Linda| 1 replyOptum RX have no idea who they are, but they know my name
- Caller: Optum RX
- BigA replies to LindaWell, the logical intelligent thing to do would have been to look that company up on the internet. Then, if you have no business relationship with them, then you could have proceeded further by filing complaints.
- NAGave 855-817-4442 as a call back number which is not a toll free number for Optum Rx -- probably phishing for personally identifiable information
- Caller: Said Optum Rx
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Wayne Alan replies to mad mama| 2 repliesOptumRx is not a scam. They are a legitimate mail order Pharmacy Company. In all likelihood your doctor sent a prescription to them to be filled. If your have changed insurance Part "D" under Medicare your Mail-order Vendor probably changed. Mail Order Part "D" vendors are REQUIRED to call you to verify any prescription requested by your Doctor
- DanCalled and left message saying they had important info about a prescription. I don't have any prescriptions. Surely a scam call
- Caller: Says they are Optim RX
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Dan replies to Wayne AlanOptum RX does not call from this number. They are pretending to be them in order to gain information
- F Kunder| 1 replyEvening (no exact time shown) received ROBO-CALL from 1 (978)775-6293. Unintelligible phone voice, identified as Optum RX, asking questions making no sense, and because no response was possible I just hung up.
- Caller: Optum RX
- Call type: Survey
- Caroline| 1 replyThis actually is Optimum RX, I get my scripts filled by them.
- Caller: Legitimate Caller
- Call type: Valid
- TheRealSeriously® replies to CarolineSo if you knew who the caller was, why are you here? Plus, legit for you does NOT equal legit for others-scammers spoof such numbers
- Pakelekia replies to mad mamaThis is why I immediately hung up, figuring this could well be a scam. I had just received a call from that number saying who they were and I got suspicious and ended the call within a couple seconds!
- Pakelekia replies to Wayne AlanEh Wayne, there's no way your own doctor or pharmacist gets these people to place a call to your number! And just because the caller identified themselves over the phone as Optum Rx doesn't mean the call came from them at all period! You may have been SCAMMED! I had just gotten a call from them and upon them saying who they were, I immediately became suspicious and hung up! I refuse to give them any personal info!
- PakelekiaReceived a call from that number 10 minutes ago and as soon as I asked who they were and they said this was Optium Rx, I immediately hung up, suspecting this was a scam call! My advice to people getting such a call is to not provide them any personal information about yourself or anything and to immediately hang up! Be aware of unfamiliar phone numbers unrecognizable to you and just ignore it!
- Caller: Claiming to be Optium Rx
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Pakelekia replies to F KunderBe aware you could well been scammed! Just because this may had been a survey, the person on the other end could been a scam artist and has stolen your personal info!
- Pakelekia replies to AnonymSame thing with me! As soon as I answered, the caller on the other end knew my name and within a couple seconds, I hung up sensing this was a scam call! You did exactly the right thing in hanging up on them!
- NapgarThis is a robocall from OptumRx. I have OptumRx for prescriptions, but doubted the verity of this call, so I called the other phone number I have in my file for OptumRx (855)505-8106. They (OptumRX) confirmed that the call was a legitimate call from their pharmacist to verify or advise about prescription information. I do have a new prescription at the pharmacy and I imagine they wanted to advise me not to take Ambien (no chance I’m going to change) When you call they ask you to verify your name and birthdate, etc. to assure that YOU are legitimate. I was told that I could opt out of any further calls by calling direct at 928-753-6271. It is unfortunate that people assume that this is a scam call without checking first all the facts. If you have OptumRX, just call the phone number you have on file for them to confirm what I’ve said. I have OptumRx but fill my prescriptions through CVS drugstore...perhaps some people forget that they have OptumRx because their scripts are filled locally at their pharmacy. OptumRX fills all my 3 month prescriptions by mail.

- JaniceThis is the message left for me from this number: Hello this is optimum RX calling for xxx. We're trying to reach you again to make sure you have the support you deserve. Please call us back toll free at 1-855-817-4442. Again the number is 1-855-817-4442. Thank you and have a good day. Goodbye.
Doesn't sound sinister and gives an 855 number to call back. Why they call from a lot of different numbers makes no sense but this is the msg they left on my phone.- Caller: OptumRx
- Audrey replies to AnonymJust got the same call and did the same thing when asked for my SOB. I hung up.
- RobertSFWow, these people are still at it. I just heard from them today. I do have a prescription at a Walgreen's pharmacy, so at first I thought it was legitimate. But thanks to all of your comments, I now know it's a scam.
- Caller: OptumRx

- MegCalled today - recorded call - husband answered and they asked if he was Meg (?) Gave him the same # for me to call back; this is a scam. Did not call them because Optum RX says they have no phones coming from the 978 area code.
- TexasNightOwlThey didn't leave a message, so I called them. After giving my birthdate, they named a prescription I was past due on refilling, named the pharmacy that I filled it at last, and asked if they could connect me to that pharmacy to refill. I said no, and they said Ok, reminded me how important it is to take prescribed medicine, and asked again if I wanted them to connect me to the WalMart pharmacy for a refill. Not sure if this paid for by WalMart Pharmacy or by my insurance company.
