Duke Energy calling about changes in EPP Plan.  Their call robot seems to call from this number every year.  They are trying to save themselves the trouble of sending a written notice and the cost of postage.  I don;t know why they don't include this information in the power bill.  I just ignore these calls... I want to see in writing whatever they intend to do!

It's duke energey. I called the number back and they stated to reach customer service call 800-777-9898. It's legit. I didn't initiate the call, so I choose not to call customer service.  My time is mine, so they can send the information to me via a letter - per their message.

Got three calls from this number...recorded message and very aggravating!

This number has called numerous times on my cell phone?? I haven’t given Duke Energy my cell number if it is them. Blocked this number on cell phone

This number has called my cell phone 2x this morning within a span of an hour, without giving me any information regarding what it is about. Our bill is paid, in fact we are owed a credit....This comes off as a fraud. If it is legit, Duke needs to change they way they go about contacting their customers.

This is definitely duke energy.

Call from this # message said "If you  are and said my name"  press 1, if not press 2 since the caller ID said Unknown name, I didn't take the chance because I didn't know what I might be doing and agreeing to. BUT I see the comments that it is Duke Energy. SO say DUKE ENERGY on caller ID

980-232-9942 IS DUKE ENERGY. After reading comments here, I called their 800#, they showed where Duke DID in fact call me regarding our equal pymt plan, which they evaluate every 3 mos, to let you know what the amount will be for the 3 mos period(lower or higher)

I got a call from this number and I am not a Duke Energy customer.  Has to be a scam or telemarketing on their part.  But definitely not a customer call.

This numbers called 4 times in less than a hour n I'm fedup!!! We just spoke with Duke Energy this past week bout our bill. Can't they stop this??

This is a legitimate call, I think, from Duke Energy.  I was out of state and missed paying my electric bill.  I also got a text message on my cell phone and an email.  They are persistent to the point of being obnoxious.
