Just got a message from this number. Have no clue who this is.

They have been harassing and when calling back it sounds like a scam set up

Received a call from this number saying this is WRS and to give them a call back regarding a matter of mines????

Calling from WRS with a personal business matter . Have no idea who this is .

Calls and harrasses my wife.  They even called her work.  Definately Vishing.  I've been constantly calling them back with a blocked number and now they are starting to get mad at me.  Hopefully they get busted before anyone falls for their crap.

No, definitely pretending to be a debt collector.  They already have all the information that they need.  What they want is money.  I doubt that they will get "busted" because no one has taken the time to get more information on them and I would be willing to bet that no one in this thread has filed complaints with the CFPB and their State Attorney General.

Called me and when i called back the guy answer wanted all my details and was like give me the last 4 of your social i was like absolutely not . He said well you will see when they pick you up at your house or job. Godly very hateful and hung up

Harassment call stating debt owed to cash advance from 2017 and didn't finish paying them? Threatened to take to court for theft? Rattled off the last 4 of my social, locations I've lived and employment history/wrong dates. Very unsettling and I never used such companies for advances?

Had this exact situation happen today. Claiming that I was being taken to court for check fraud stating I took out a 7k loan and made a few payments and then closed my account with Wells Fargo (which I’ve never had). Accused me of being aggressive and stating they were recording the call and will be adding it to their report to hand over to the judge and I’d have to prove and explain everything to the judge. I’m for sure reporting this to my local police.

BS Call, filed the number with the FTC. Everyone needs to do the same.

Called from a VOIP, but asked that I call the 985 number.  It was a scam, of course, trying to pick up a 2017 debt which does not exist.  I told them never to call me again or I would file a complaint with the FTC (I filed it anyway), they still leave me voicemails at least 3-4 times a week.

The only way the FTC would have accepted a debt collection complaint is if you lied to them since they would have redirected you to the CFPB where it should have been reported.  Oh, and I'm not sure what this thing about the call coming in on a VOIP line means since all calls made today utilize that.

I have received multiple messages from this number. who is it?

Scary.. I didn't fall for it, said that I had a warrant and that I was soon to be picked up. They used my married name, which I haven't used in over 13 years. They lady was so rude and told me good luck in court. I called my local sheriff office just to make sure I don't have a warrant, and sure enough I don't.

Reported this number to the FTC and to the do not call list. So far no more calls

Then you admit to lying about the type of call that it was?  Lying to Federal Agencies/Agents is against the law.
