Same as everyone else. Left a voicemail with case info and name. I have nothing outstanding that I'm aware of. Seems shady. Unsure what the important business matter is.

Called from 717-441-4141.  Left a message to call WRS at 985-314-6227 about a debt I do not owe.  I Am reporting to my local authorities in charge of scam callers

Got the same message something about cash now never heard of it,said someone is going to pick me up,because I had an account with JP Morgan I told him that's a lie he said yes you did then I said come on then he hung up,where he got my social dont know but didn't agree to anything,

Keep getting phone calls from this number. Appears to be a scam number trying to collect money.

I received a call from 224-408-6106 to call (985) 314-6227 regarding a case that has been placed on their desk.  The company they said was WRS.

Left voice mail message and identified as WRS and stated that it was a business matter. The female caller gave a case number and to call 985 314 6227.
The call came from a 702 area code which is in Nevada and area code 985 is in Louisiana.
Haven't called the back.

They don’t like when you call them back 30 times.

It is a collection agency. I have been harassed for a few years now from another collection agency, sending me messages that they took my case to court and apparently, they got tired of it, now I see this WRS agency calling me now.  Looks like they sold it to WRS.

Calls from a # in my area code...leaves a recorded robotic type message...message is...a personal matter has been placed with our office press any key to be transferred to a mediator or call back at 985-314-6227 & they leave a reference #...no name of the company, who they are just constant harassment!! I get the same recorded message everyday 3-4 times a day!! Always a different phone # but always the same recorded voice & message!!!

They keep calling for Tyra Brown. I've told them it's not me. They say they'll take me off the list but I keep getting calls.

Received a call from a local Pittsburgh area code..   big red banner warned me that it was a suspected scam call  I didn't answer the call, but waited for the voice mail instead.  He stated he was calling in regards to a personal business matter that's been placed in their office and asked me to either hold on the line for the next available agent or give them a call at 985-314-6227, after Googling the number I found out it's a California number associated with many scam calls.

Really? What about the states SOL? They cannot collect in court after the SOL has expired, and it will drop off your credit report.

Again, maybe know what you are talking about?  While they cannot take you to court it does not mean that the debt is uncollectable.  They are legally allowed to ask you to pay it.  It also does not mean that you don't still owe it.  Credit reports have nothing to do with the collection of the debt.

Looks like you either need glasses or you need a new pair.
I can tell you without a doubt (without even checking) that you could not have seen a search result on Google claiming that 985-314-6227 is a "California number".
The 985 area code services south-eastern Louisiana (except for the area around New Orleans, which is area code 504), not California.

this call comes from a totally different number. I'm then asked to contact directly at 985-314-6227. When I call back, I am put on hold forever. I have blocked these different numbers a thousand times. but they just keep calling from a different number.

I received 2 messages from them today, one on my landline and one on my cell phone. Called from 2 different phone numbers, but message said to call them back at the 985-314-6227 number.

“This message is intended for Kellen Tiffany please contact WRS in regards to an important business matter we can be reached directly at telephone number 985-314-6227 and reference your file number 16640250 thank you…”
They call me daily. Have all my information. But saying that I owe on a pay day loan for $700, but because I haven’t made any payments the amount I owe is like over $4,000.00. I explain to them that I have never taken out a $700 pay day loan. I explain to them yes I took a pay day loan out but because I am on disability the most they would give me was $300. And that I paid it off. I also said that I have gotten phone calls on this before and explained to them this loan is 8 to 9 years old and that I called my bank for proof that I paid the loan. My bank told me anything over 7 years is destroyed, and that I was probably being scammed. Then she said Wisconsin laws on that is 7 years, that they can’t collect on it anyways.
I just keep blocking them.  But it’s getting to were I don’t want a phone anymore.
