Me to received a similar call today. The number was +91-8439499284 Ramesh Shekhavat. he gave me another number to talk who, according to him is an advocate. Name, Manoj Singhwi : +918445168276.
This advocate was explaining me how to make a bill payment online. I was surprised to hear that an advocate is explaining me how to make an online payment on MTS website. This brought a doubt in my mind. When I searched on google for similar situations, I got to know that many people are getting such calls.
It seems that these people are from MTS collection department itself and not lawyers or anything.

Its highly pathetic that after giving such a poor service MTS is playing such a cheating game with their already unsatisfied customers with the name of Delhi court.

MTS, you deserve a termination from Indian market.

I got similar call from same person but from no 8459467687 and telling me same details and asked me to contact one Mr J D Sinha at 8447052590. These prank calls must be stopped so that some innocent people should not fall in their prey.

I got a call from 8742980832 saying from Delhi high Court and asking me to contact Layer Sharma @ 8745007856. for settle the case outside the court. I surprised  I never involved in such kind of activity.

Hi...I also received a fraud call stating that he was from DElhi Court and they said there was a fradulant and cheating 420 case against me... they had already sent two notices, which I had not replied, he said...so police was going to arrest me and he said to call the advocate about the case details.  He said he had no much time to keep that file with himself and need to send that to the megistrate for the signature... so asked me to call the advocate as soon as possible....I was shocked by the phone call.  For 5 minutes, I was thinking.  Then i realized it could be a fake call.  Then I just started to check if any information on internet and then typed in Google.. "Fake calls from delhi.." then I got here.. then I just got myself coool by seeing abot these same calls in this forum....THANKS FOR GOOGLE and the guys who have posted here...

I didnt call to the advocate... the person called me 5 to 6 times...i just said plz give me some time....then finally he called and i said that the number which he gave me was switched off.. then he said i have no time, i will forward u r case to the police...i said "Teek Hein."  ...there matter over.. bye guys.

I do got the same message from 8750555271 saying that he's Delhi police and there is a case filed against me fraud and cheating case in Delhi but i live in Hyderabad he gave the lawyer number Abhinav tripathi he said 420 case against me in check bouncing to be frank i don't even have bank account then i realized those are fraud

I also received call from 8375812237 (dont know service provider) saying that I am an ASI from Delhi police. There is non bailable warrent case against you. you have attened the court tomorrow @ patiala. Hence talk to lawyer Akash 8527115266 (Airtel). I spoken to him. He told me deposit Rs.16980/- in his Bank account no: 31343896845  SBI sonipat. Reliance given the case for your post paid connection. Pay 16980/- immediately or you have to pay penalty 180000/-.

We are putting the complaints here with details, why no one is tasking action againt them. this is my concern.

Got a Similar call from Delhi police Inspector Ashok Chauhan from no. 8459819568 telling me that there is a non bailable warrant against my name in Delhi court and I should contact Ashish mehta an attorney in Mumbai @ 7503843359..Seems to a  Hoax call.. the language was rude and Pathetic.

Hope someone take serious action this frauds...

Your Post really helped me, i gotta call from the same number you have mentioned in your post saying that the lady was calling from Delhi investigation department and there was a case against me. After reading your post, i called her back and act as myself as an officer and since than, she didn't call me back nor responded to my phone calls.

Guys you are just posting and asking why anyone has not taken action. I ask you all who have got this fake calls have to log a complain at local police station. If not than be coward and sit infront of computer and keep posting and help this fraudsters to increase their guts.

I just received a call and logged the complain at Kandivali west Mumbai police station. Second call the Nc will turn to FIR.

I read a advertise in punjab kesari to go for this job but At 14 march 2014,i called on the given number after than we have long discussion on it and she tnld me to deposited 3500 rs in the accont of Mr. Vikarm gupta and his staff girl told me that if u deposit this money and your scanned documents immediatly then u will get a tour of abroad and earn money with each tour without signing any bond but now she call me again after the submission of documents and 3500 rs that i have to submit rs 10000 on her sbi account for ticketing to abroad and if i did not do so she will never bring me my cash back. I got the call from +91 9643569170 saying that he is from Delhi police control room. He mentioned his name as Rajiv Singh Tripathi. He mentioned that there is a fraud and cheating case filed against me in Delhi court by Advocate Rawat. Rawat sent me many notices but i didn't appear to court. That fraud police also knows my home and office address. I live in Kolkata, I do not know that how fraud case begins in Delhi. So, i went to local police station which is very near to my home. This story is not new to them. They told me that they got same complaint about fraud calls from many peoples. They guess that those who does e-shopping got this kind of call. They also knows that these call comes from Delhi.

I got a call from some Delhi police Inspector Vijandar pal singh no. 8285660611 telling me my details that there is arrest warrant against my name in Delhi patyala house court Delhi and I should contact Ashish kumar at 09911953042 seems like some prank call because I am south Indian and never visited delhi in my life.but annoying ...the number belongs to new delhi.

Indian Govt. need very strict punishment for this kind of crime like catch those people who make fraud and cut their hand and feet from end to end so that other one get lesson.
