Got a call today from Delhi Vodafonee number - 8377826344. The lady took my correct name and said she is calling from Rohini Court Delhi from some advocate's chamber and there is a fraud case against me, filed in Devas M.P. I told her very calmly that I have never been to Devas or M.P. and I do not know the complainant. But she urged me to come to Rohini Court and present myself. Then she disconnected. I called back and asked her name, boss's name, designation etc, to which she refused to provide. I very sternly told her not to call my number ever again and she hung up again. All these are fake calls. In case you get such a call, don't panic, talk to the person nicely but dominantly and at the end, just tell them to do whatever they want and never call again. This works.

I also got the call from same number and got informed that there is some fraud case filed against me and I need to speak to advocate Rashid Malik otherwise they will auction my house, since I have dishonored court by not responding to court samans. I live in Bangalore and my native is in kolkata, where my mom stays alone, so, I got scared as he gave all my details like my present and permanent address, company details and designation. I acted like a fool, he took few more details from me like who stays in my native and all those details.

Also, why I got scared is I had some credit card issues when I lost my job and my father passed away in the same time, but later on I settled all the loans and having all documents from bank, my foolishness I gave those details to him.

I called the so called advocate, he told me that ICICI has filed a case against me, i told him that I paid the credit card dues and settled the account then how come ICICI can file a case against me. That guy told that the collection agent was fraud and the letters I am having is also fake. I argued with him that I have the CIBIL report with me, there also it is mentioned as settled. Then he told me to minus that amount and pay 30000/- by 2 PM, I told I cannot arrange, then he told 20K lastl came to 10K. I told let us have this sorted on court.

Today, again the so called delhi police called me and threat me, but I was rigid to see in court. Let's see. If I receive one more all then I will go to police.

Lawyer who introduced himself as a govt lawyer at Patiala House Court said that there is case against me for some loan related matter and a govt company named 'Estate Finance Corporation' (which is not exits and I don't have any dealings with such company) has filed case against me. Lawyer further said that after sending many notices and summons to me (which I never received) I didn't appeared in the court hence judge has issued NBW against me. He asked me to deposit money in his account (30k+, Bank Of Baroda, Zheel Branch) so that he can send cheque to the court and withdraw the warrant. Both of them (so called police and lawyer) were calling me alternatively and putting pressure so that I can transfer the money asap. I consulted local police and a known lawyer, both of them advised for not transferring the money and said that it must be a hoax call. My lawyer contacted fake lawyer and asked for the case papers and threatened him for legal action. From that time onwards above both mobiles were switch off for longer time.

Above fake callers were sounding like professionals. I was hearing siren of police van when this so called police officer called me. They were having my address and phone numbers. Any normal person can immediately come under pressure and transfer the money. However I was saved with true advises. It was a horrible experience for me. I thought of sharing it here so that it can help others. One important point which I noticed was my details like name, addresses and phone number with these fake callers were exactly matching with my profile uploaded on naukri.com.

I got a call from 9643218016 of Vinoth and tells me that he is calling from delhi high court and somehow he revealed my details correctly and said me that there is 420 case on me and the case was been handled by R C Gowtham and asked me to come to Delhi high court!!! I got panic and checked with many of my friends and got an idea to search his no on google i find a lot of forums where his name along with his no was displayed, this f****g jerk has no other work just to call ppl and threatened for money, we ppl should prove this nut cracker that he are not fools to believe on whatever ppl says this mother f*****r need to sent behind bars

Today i got a call from the above mentioned numbers stating that somebody has filed a complaint against me and case no is 302. They gave another number as lawyer number and asked to call him regarding the case filed. I tried that number somebody picked and answered as the lawyer and asked for the complaint number. On providing that he was telling me that i need to pay 1500 or so as mobile payment due. If i am not paying this amount within two hours i will be levied a charge of 10000 rupees as penalty and immediately i should go to the court. But when i asked him to provide the number used by me, he did not give me and gave me one account number. I enquired aircel customer care regarding the account number but they told me that there are no such account numbers with aircel. Then again i called him and told the story. He immediately asked me whether i have a debit or credit card and pay through it immediately. He was threatening me like you have to face serious consequences etc. etc. I told him show me the proof or do whatever you can do. Then no calls.
Be careful will such calls and never respond to it.

So no more Mumbai police. Now only Delhi police itseems. I too got a call from india mobile number 8470086874 claiming as Sub-Inspector of New Delhi (looks like only one Sub-ins as per him). He wanted me to talk to Advocate Agrawal (9015842651), who knows my legal case issue. Looks like he didn't receive proper note on what to say when I ask him about case.

I recieved multiple calls at my land line from 011-47245023, 011-47245032, 011-47245004 using the name of different insurance company to ask for details ..and telling I have bonus amount of 1 lack 86K.
There are multiple people who call from these numbers and sometimes they tell they are from Sahara sometime they say they are from LIC and they are calling from Connought place.

08744028221 called to say there is a case of cheating and fraud.. I had known these guys are just playing on fear factor of innocent people, told him send in the papers we will sort it out.

I am sure no one from responsible authorities are looking into these scams and frauds happening to general population. They must be busy sorting clearing their names from their own scams and frauds which they have been doing.

I got call from some Yudhvir Malik from 8510950496, called himself as SHO Delhi police and threatened me that he has Non Bailable Warrant (said reference also as nbw-03974/IPC in Patiyala Court Delhi) against me and asked my location to reach me and arrest me. After asking details and reasons, he told that he don't know and don't have time also to talk or wait but gave reference of one lawyer named Alok Kumar (09711435537) for further help, guidance and details.

Lawyer, who introduced himself as a Govt lawyer at Patiala House Court said that there is case against me for some loan related matter and a govt company named 'Estate Finance Corporation' (which i never heard and I don't have any dealings with such company) has filed case against me. They also told that time now is 3.30 PM and something can be done only up to 4.00PM. Today is Friday and Court will be closed on Saturday, Sunday and further Diwali vacation. If i don't do the needful your Diwali will be in Jail and Police Station.

I asked for details of case and papers only then I can act. I also said nothing is pending anywhere against me. I told that i have no money with me and what ever police wants to do let them do. I also told that i will complain immediately to local police.

When contacted Local police station, they told not to worry as these are fake calls.

A call was received from 8459819775, who told that he is Ashok Chauhan from Dehli Police and there is a case of Cheating and Fraud against me, for the details need to contact Advocate VK Sabharwal of Dehli high court. This type of Prank call are receiving on daily basis, please be aware and cautious.

Yesterday, I got a call from the number 9953065703 at noon time. The person calling informed me that he was ASI Jagdish Sharma calling from Sadar Bazar police station, New Delhi. He verified my details and informed me that a non - bailable warrant # NBW 0394/ IPC 2014 had been issued against me, since I had not appeared in the court despite several summons, and I had to appear in the Patiala House court by 1:30 p.m. He refused to give details of the case as the matter was in the court. He also told me that in 10 mins, he would send my file to court and the warrant will be forwarded to Kolkata police (I live in Kolkata), who would then arrest me and bring me to Delhi. He also said I should speak to the govt lawyer named Ravi Srivastav (08802554836) and gave me 10 minutes to get abck to him after speaking to the lawyer. I could understand that it was all fake but, decided to play along. I then called the lawyer and he shared that there was a case of Fraud against Reserve Bank of India lodged against me and I needed to deposit Rs. 33,428 in the court by 1:30 p.m. I told there was no way I could do that as I was in Kolkata. He then asked if I could somehow get that  money deposited and I replied I could do it online. He then said that he would give me the details of bank account of his assistant and I must transfer the money within 10 mins so that he can make an application and submit it in the court along with the cheque. This would stop my arrest. He gave me below details:

I edited one sms received from my bank and forwarded the same to him showing that my account had been debited by INR 33,428 towards transfer to his account.
I immediately forwarded the account details to one of my friends who works in the bank and he retrieved the details of the account provided:

Address: Indralok, B-39, Flat No. 1009, Urvashi Tower, Mayakhand, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad

After that I blocked the above two numbers. Then, during the night the lawyer called me up several times from a different number (08802501396) saying that he didn't receive any money in his account. I played innocent and told him that I had already sent money to him and prevent me from getting arrested. Meanwhile I went to my local police station and filed a General Diary entry for this case. I have also written an email to Delhi Police Commissioner, highlighting this incident.
Can someone track these cheats in Ghaziabad?

My friend received a phone call from a number 8459819775, which seems like a similar to what has been discussed. The guy introduced himself from Delhi Police, he has postal address too. My friend has asked for a call some time after, so, I will update more details here. But this seems like another hoax call.
