Why do we have the "no-call list"?  Because it's a good way to waste tax money and it keeps politicians happy, thinking they're doing something worthwhile...

do not call list could be hacked.  i always get these calls within a day after i've called my internet service provider concerning a legitimate problem.  one time when i confronted these b*st*rds, I was told to ram a pencil up my nose  (i.e., commit suicide).  Just more proof as to the existence of evil.

i receive many of these calls.  the phone numbers vary, but the script is the same.

i didn't get the call after talking to HP, but I always get a scam call after talking to my internet service provider (Cox).  I'm almost certain these s.o.b.'s are hackers.

Got the same call today (4-28-15).  Indian Accent and the same thing... They received some crap from MY computer.  I promptly hung up when they asked me "Do you know anything about this sir"... I am a woman.

thanks a lot for making sure I didn't get enough sleep last night.  this is a house full of seniors and sick people.

Received call at my home at 7:20am. Alex Stephenson stated he was calling from Windows company as I had a virus alert on my computer that was tying up a Wisconsin computer. He said my IP address was sending this virus alert and he wanted to help me get rid of it. He wanted me to turn my computer on. After that he asked me if I was the decision maker in the home. I said no and he wanted to talk with the decision maker. I ended up hanging up as he had a heavy Indian accent.

Just got a call from a Macdonald Terry telling me my computer had a virus.  I hung up on this scammer knowing that the only "virus" around is in this jerk's head!!!!!!

The guy claimed his name was John.  When I asked too many questions he informed me what he was going to do to my mother before he killed her.  Nice.

They called last night at 10:30 & tonight at 1. Indian sounding lady said that she held the certificate to the microsoft on my computer & was the only one able to fix it before it crashed. She told me she was calling from London, England but the number is 989-728-0130 & caller id says Dominic Zombo. She told me to get in front of my computer & she could take control & get rid of the viruses. I told her that I didn't even own a computer and she hung up immediately.

These guys are a*holes, but then again, you are you, you racist [***].

Got the call at 10pm. It said Terry MacDonald on caller id, area code 989. It was good old Windows Technical department, with an urgent message that my computer was having problems. I asked how he knew that, and he said I was stupid and he wasn't going to talk to someone stupid like me. There was so much call center noise in the background, I could hardly understand him.

i got a call from this number they state their is a problem with the network and we were being hacked previous they were making exscuses on another problem they were talking to my wife so i came on the phone and stated i was with the police department of my state and was going to verify my ip adress myself to see if it was correct on what they were saying before they wanted me to do anything they wanted and was imidiatly hung up on...

Called twice let in the night and said they were from a medical company a woman voice caller ID Zombo Dominic

They have called 3 times in the past 2 days

Received a phone call at midnite May 1st. from Zombo D & C #989-728-0130 asking if I was the household member who uses the computer at this home? What the ? it's midnite. I asked what computer? He said the one with the windows operating system. I don't have windows I have a MAC. I hung up. Beware sounds like a scam to me.

Yep, just tried to scam me as well.  Indian woman said she was from Microsoft and that my computer was sending in all kinds of errors and I needed to get rid of the infected files immediately or else my computer would crash.  I couldn't figure out the scam so played along and saw all of the stopped programs that supposedly needed their immediate intervention, then she transferred me to a senior advisor.  Figured it out then, and told her my husband was a computer technician and was currently at the computer and their were no infections, but if she could hold on just a minute he was almost done with the trace that would pinpoint their calling location.  She immediately hung up on me.

This number called at 11:14pm last night!!! Caller ID was Terry MacDonald. A woman with a middle eastern accent was calling about our computer. What the heck...I was sound asleep! But we have a missing dog and I answer any number that comes up in case it is information about Boomer :/

Called came at 12 midnight. My 81 y/o mother has the phone in her room. Someone with indian accent asking about her computer. She hung up. I checked the caller ID, Zombo D & C. Although I've warned her about checking the caller ID before answering, when a phone rings in the middle of the night, you don't think of that.

Call came in as Dominic Zombo. No message. Added to block list.
