This number keeps calling and just sits on the phone quiet, like some psycho. So I did the same to them today, and they hung up.

call came in on 5/9/17 @ 5:14 PM did not answer and there was no message.

Caller said my computer has been hacked and they said they were calling because they had access to Bank account etc they said  I was in danger my P.C.  etc the only problem is I don't have a P.C.

did not recognize/did not answer/no message left/....Phone ID Shows "Invalid Number"

Also saw "Invalid Number" when this number called. Translates to "Block now", not even giving them the chance to get the machine. Like they leave messages anyway.

No ID, no message.

Definitely a scam.One closes and another one crops up. Said he was calling from Microsoft.The guy got frustrated with me after I confronted him that he started to swear. I am surprised that the United-States has no control over these guys who swindle millions out of vulnerable American citizens.

Didn't answer and blocked this scrap.

I got a call from 991-997-6543. CID said INVALID NUMBER. Something in me just had to answer so I did after the third or fourth ring. It was a real female voice and she attempted to call me by name. She didn't have the same Indian accent that the computer scammers have. She sounded more Oriental. It was obviously some sort of a call center because there were all kinds of background voices and noises. When she said my name I played dumb and asked, "Who?" She said it again, even added my last name. It, too, was an attempt at proper pronunciation. Again I said, "Who?" She said her name was Gigi Mansfield and she was calling from the US Federal Government.....Treasury.....Washington DC. I laughed out loud!! I kept asking her name and where she was calling from. She kept having to repeat it while I was writing it down. Finally she said, "Do I sound like a joke?" I said, "Yes". She came back with, "We are on a recorded line so don't give me sh**, alright." I laughed and she hung up.

As soon as I hear the accent, I know it's a scam. Told me he was from the US  Treasury dept and a tax error in favor had me due $4800. All I had to do to claim the money was go to Walgreen's and send him $300 via a Walgreen's vanilla money card(for the processing of course) and the check would be sent. Why the hell would the US government need to receive money in the form of A Walgreen's cash card??? LMAO! I told him to take the piss and hung up.

Yes, do not answer.  I have an answering machine and if it's legitimate, the person will leave a message.  If you don't have an answering machine and you don't recognize the number, you don't have to answer.   I only pick up for area codes I know and then it's often a scam.  No computer company ever calls you about your computer unless you have called them first and then they give you a case number which they will tell you when they call.

Same here I been dealing with these unknown numbers go a couple of months now its getting really annoying
