called at 1916 so they could leave no message on our answering machine and no caller id so we couldn't call them back if we wanted to. master communicators.

SCAM. Called me to say this was the US Treasury Department and I had won some sort of grant. I told him the US Treasury Department does not call citizens on their cell phones to tell them they won a grant that does not exist. He got mad. I hung up.

Only problem is, when you answer the phone (picking up and hanging up is still an "answer"), it confirms to these people that this is a "good" number. This is the last thing you want to do. Especially if it is actually an auto dialer. But reading most of these reports, I don't think it is. I think it's just low life pathetic people scamming. Just block the number and be done with it.

This number called at least 5 times.  The first call was a guy with accent, very friendly, said he was from microsoft and my computer was in danger....I told him he had the wrong number.  He has called several times since.  I just hang up.  The rings are strange.  Very short rings, or long long ring,

Several calls this morning from this number from a company stating that they are an education referral service, despite my telling them they have a wrong number and being asked to be on their "do not call" list.  I have been polite in telling them they have the wrong number (they are asking for Rebecca).  The last call I just got, a guy asks for Rebecca.  I reply, is this that edu company?  He pauses... then replys "[***] you" and hangs up.

Let it ring, they left no message so I blocked them after checking here.  Really REALLY getting tired of this.

Received call this morning.  Caller ID says "invalid number".  No message left.  Why would anyone answer a call that comes up as 'invalid number'!  Glad others have shown it's a computer problem scam.

Called but left no message.

Opened with, "You've ordered prescription drugs from us before, and today you qualify for..."   blah   blah   blah

But, we've never ordered drugs from anybody.

This phone number showed up in my call list on my phone but they did not leave a message. I didn't answer it either. Reading previous posts, I thought the area code was weird too. I'm going to try to report it to the FBI link from Brandon. These sound like horrible people!

This nunber has called several times.   I do not answer & have now blocked.

Wow, so many different scams from same number.  Anyway they called me I sent unrecognized number to vm, after reading comments I have blocked.

I actually have fun receiving these fake tech support calls. Start asking simple technical questions and they lose their [***]. My IP address is apparently 192.168.1.1. Like they could at least know basic IPv4 networking and made up a number but he chose to use the default Class C Routers Internal IP. One time they told me my IP Address was my actual address from 10 years ago,

Couldn't understand a word the man said. Heavy east Indian accent. Hung up on him.
