Called my # on May 2/17 @ 8:30 am. Don't answer unknown callers unless I recognize the #. They can leave a message if impt. I block unknown callers numbers.

Strange unwanted calls from this number... they just hang up.

I just received a call from this number, the caller claimed he was from Microsoft .

Multiple calls esch day... I have it blocked...

Chicago area code.  Caller plays the game of saying they are calling from Microsoft and that they want to show you problems with your Windoze computer.  Asks you to bring up event viewer.  Got tired of playing along, at which point the bugger tried calling back about 4 times as well as leaving a voicemail.  Guess I should have told him I have a Mac and that they don't get viruses (*cough*, right)?

Declined call after four rings – they didn't leave a message. Thank you to everybody who warned me it's a scammer.

A star head, Indian, sand ???ger, called and I let it go to the Chinese answering machine.  The guy talked to the recording for 2 plus minutes.  I finally picked up the phone and said,  "You have to be the Dumbest SOB in the World".  I hung the phone up and he was still talking.  If I had a kid that stupid, I would send him to the North Pole so he could entertain himself.  I laughed my butt off.

My grandma fell for it, and they [***] her computer up. Like, they took control and wouldn't turn it back on unless she paid them like $300, but they blamed a "virus" that only they could fix.

Another Windows call. They're catching on that we are blocking their numbers!

I tried to block this on Vonage and it said "invalid number"!

Its been about a year since we have received the computer scam. The last time they called I acted all upset and nervous.  Told the "Troll" that my brother has the computer at his work place and would he please call him.  The "Troll" was very eager to call my brother.  So, I gave him the number for the police department, to ask for Mr. Bolo (be on the lookout), in department 1055.  They called just a few minutes ago and yep, did the same thing.  It will probably be another year to hear from these vultures.  Some times we answer "Madison County Justice Department, Officer Dudley".  I know we can't stop these Vulture calls, but the above has reduced getting 17 calls a day to an average of 2 a week.

Please U.S. Government. Do your job and do something about these calls. They are annoying .

I get a call from the 'windows IT' guy. He says I have a problem with my computer. I ask how he knows I have a computer. "Your husband told me" "you talked to him today?" "yes" "You effn scammer." I hung up. Husband passed away in 2009.  I need to buy a whistle.

rec'd call from patrick w/foreign accent telling me that he was calling from the us federal grant office in dc & that my name & number had been chosen to win money that would not need to be paid back to the government.  told him not interested & hung up.
