The number I got was 805-614-1338 from async saying my car warranty it up and if I want to renew it press 7.

After researching these calls, and this goes for any unfamiliar calls, NEVER answer them. Most of the time they are "fishing calls". Meaning, most are recorded calls from fake numbers to find out if your phone is operating. DO NOT ANSWER THEM, DO NOT CALL THEM BACK. You will notice that after awhile the amount of calls will reduce and calls from the same scams will stop.

Robocall spam. Recently received exact same partially recorded message from 650-525-5033, 408-811-3494, 424-233-2080 and 323-567-4524, all under async: "...before we close the file. If you're interested in renewing your auto warranty now, please press 5 now. Or press 9 to be removed from our list".

Been through a lot of these. Best thing is NEVER answer any number you do not know who it is. If they do not leave a legitimate message, ignore them. If a scammer does leave a message, it will be a short unfinished message with no callback number. If their recorded message does not pick up that it is a working number, eventually they will stop calling until they sell your number to somebody else. Then you need to start over.
They use fake numbers so reporting them is useless. The FCC needs to do something about calls from computers that spoof real phone numbers. I have blocked hundreds of calls. I am doing a lot of work for nothing.

Agree with Tony. Blocking these numbers is useless waste of time. I’ve received many of these messages from different numbers, this time 707 598-4248.

Keep getting calls from this 'async' the numbers vary but lately have been 804-594-9744. One message tells me that they have an open legal file and I need to contact them giving me a file number (However I have no legal issues outstanding anywhere) and the other message tells me that my car warranty needs to be renewed. So which is it? They have a legal issue or a car warranty issue? Either way it spells SCAM to me. I'm also on the do not call registery but you can't get anyone to talk too ..so you can't tell them to stop calling!! It's annoying at best!
