Fake payday loan collection scams - Please list new numbers here.

I must get 15 calls everyday.  I told them my lawyer is working on it.  The best has to be when Steven Tyler calls, never knew he has an accent.

They told the same thing "as the situation unfolds, i wish you luck" or some bs like that. this is too crazy and very scary..

I keep getting the same phone calls from the same people but with different numbers saying that I defaulted on a payday loan. So if you see these numbers they are a fraud 591-590-42138, 907-895-429737, and 254-350-049167. They all have a middle eastern accent.

I have the same problem. Only I have them on tape threatening me, my employer, my family, and the Attorney Generals of the States of Texas and Florida! Some of the names that they have used Edger Jones, Ronald Smith, etc, all with the same [***] accent! Same idiot, different name! i traced the calls back to legal firm in florida and they told me that they were having problems with the calls as well. thetold me that they had the local FBI office involved. when i told the female that answered the call at the legaloffice that i wanted to speak to one of the attorney's in her firm she took my name down and to this day i have not gotten a call back. and this has been 2-3 months ago!

middle eastern guy says his name is "David Brown" calling from United Nations Legal Department.The next time he called,THE SAME GUY, says his name was "James King". has called about 30 times in the last 2 weeks.   calling from (619)309-4402    i told him to lose my number, he calls right back.

I have recv'd messages on my voicemail with 4 totally different call back numbers. IF these were legitimate debt collectors I really don't think their phone number would change EVERY TIME I FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC. Funny how that works out, huh? the voice that leaves messages is the same voice that answers when I call back but he says the person who called me is a process server in a different office with some other company. this guy's message says he just recv'd a fax on his desk and he is supposed to come serve me some papers either at my "place of residence" or my home (? I thought those 2 things were the same) but he says he doesn' t have time today so I should call back and just make payment arrangements. he says this is regarding some bad checks in the same name, he ends the message with "you have been notified" (what????) first of all, I don't know who they are, they do not give a company name. secondly, the information they have except for my name, IS NOT MINE. I ran my credit report and nothing shows up for them to be trying to collect. I called the guy and tried to get information from him about this and he told me I am a thief and I should just pay back my loan.

All - I have been receiving these calls to - appear as an Intl # 052312293 or 315-982-6578.  Same dialog, heavy accent and end with "goodluck for the situation that is about to unfold on you".  Cincinnati OH BBB has posted a consumer alert stating this is not a legitimate company, phone numbers are difficult to trace [use a device to throw off their location], addresses are incorrect per the Post Office.  Notify the FTC and your state's attorney general.  Use the co. name "Legal Account Association" also.  They also leave messages on my voice mail at work [not private] and call my mother and leave a threatening message for me on her home recorder.  Such a violation of the law!!!  What a shame we cannot do anything about it.

i just got this phone call from 707-895-4746, saying that i took a loan out and havent paid it back and that they have a warrant for my arrest on monday, its a scam cause i called my bank to make sure that the guy wasnt true. the guy will say his name is ben and he is trying to get ahold of your attorney, and so forth...just to let everyone know!

281-763-0476 Andrew Parker, I have been getting these calls at work. Are these guys nuts who in the hell is going to believe them. I called him and he said to me I am going to ask you a few questions to see how I am going to act on this account, asked me if I have ever been convicted of any crimes such as murder and any criminal records. Then goes to say I need to let him talk and not interupt him and when he is finished I can ask questions. He rambled crap off could not understand half of it. I advised he needs to contact my attorney. This is crazy how they are getting away with this.

888-222-4227, This # tried calling me and getting all of my personal information saying I owed them 1500 and it was past due.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION THEY ARE A SCAM!!!! My car is paid off.  I do not have a loan for any money, they keep asking for my SS# and my birthday and my address ete ete, which I wouldn't give them and asked to have my # removed.

Please add 888-457-8585, 713-429-5532, and 281-576-9888. This guy goes by the name Charles Wayne, or Carl Wayne. He claims he is with Pack Management Group LLC and is a part of Project Recovery Division. He claims to be a Fraud Investigator. He also threatned legal action against me, and also threatned to have my bank account debited (although he could not even verify who I banked with....HA)He did not have an accent, and was obviously from the USA. The majority of them are overseas, but we got some shady ones working on American soil. I want to stress this point, so everyone can be careful regardless if the individual has an accent.
