Fake payday loan collection scams - Please list new numbers here.

I keep getting calls from people claiming I owe a payday loan - I have never had a pay day loan - their latest number is 408-837-0495 - somehow they have my work and reference information - they said I would be turned in FDIC (I called there and they do not even do this) Could not tell name, accent too heavy - how do I stop them

New number just got called at work...not answering them...925-402-0903 name is max?  Could not understnad because call was from overseas or bad bad cell phone accent was super thick...

ive received about 20 of these calls and the 1st one they almost had me, luckily after my brief crying panic attack i realized what was going on. Ive made the mistake of getting pay day loans before. even a legitimate one online. i knew it was a scam bc i keep records of everything i do financial wise and have never heard of the company and never not paid a loan back. im one of the least predjudiced people but this is how its been every call. and indian rep calls w an american name, from some generic pay day loan, the last one i got today was advance payday plus, saying charges are being downloaded against me. with every call i have gotten ive started doing this everytime and they have finally started slowing down.1st i write down the date and time as well as call notes so when they call back and start i can harass them just as much. I do customer service for insurance so i know they are just doing their job, the difference is my calls are legal and appropriate.  as soon as they ask for my lawyers information, i interrupt and ask them their name (asia, but once i did my speil she dropped the call to mark thompson), spell it, direct line (646-770-2874), physical address (633 mirabo st, brooklyn, ny 11210) , spell it, the law firm (this case was just legal accounts associaton) spell it, the name of the attorney (bob barrell for this last one) spell it. yes the spell it is more to cause them lost time as well as bc the accents. then when they start to talk i interrupt again "if your going to call and harass me then your going to listen to me and let me talk, this is not the first call ive gotten. its always an indian accent w an american name and some random general pay day loan that ive never heard of or applied for with some generic law firm. until you send me something in writing im assuming this is a scam and it illegal, reports have been filed with the local police department as well as the da. until you send me documentation in writing to the physical address you supposedly have on file then stop calling me and my work, this is just a scam and according to fcc its illegal" after that they either say 2 things, your requested information will be delivered by a legal rep tomorrow by 4 pm at which point you will be taken to the court (never happens, just one last scare tactic) or best of luck to you (which is what "mark" said today before he hung up on me) sorry its lengthy, but its helping to slow the calls down since i cant change my work #.

They have foreign accents and the phone line is horrible.  This is definitely a scam.  I had payday loans in the past and all of them were paid off. They say they are some bogus company.  The phone line has been traced somewhere in upper state NY.  I will never get another pay day loan as long as I live!!

these ppl are stupid they have nothing else better to do he goin to tell me that he is going to take legal actions against me I told him so do it and hung up do u know he called me at least 12 mo times back to back ok what real collection agency is going to do that they have too many other ppl to call instead of just me it a scam

Thats the same thing I did and he kept calling I even cursed him out and he cursed back ok if this was real y would u curse knowing that the conversation is being recorded and thats your job they are full of it

I got a call from 714-459-5878, they said I owed money and was going to jail unless I paid my debt for 1500.00 I told them i did not have a payday loan and hungup. I waited about an hour and called them back asked for the same person and reversed it onto them. I told them i was an officer from Texas and they had defaulted on there payday loan and if they did not pay I would pick them up at 12 noon tommorrow. LOL they hung up

They said I'm in legal trouble because of an online payday loan (I've never gotten an online payday loan), something about me owing them $8400, and they need my attorney's information. After requesting a supervisor or someone in American, I was transfered multiple times to many different people with very think Indian accents. When I told them I need to speak with someone I can understand so that I can figure out what's going on, they started yelling at me, mocking me, and hung up on me. I'm pretty sure that no law office conducts business this way.. scammers.

Their is a company out there located in Texas claiming to be FIRST IRS legal department who call me once or twice a day and leave a voice mail claiming I need to call them back at some 800 number..I investigated the number and found this info: they are a payday loan collection company. I took out a payday loan last year and PAID it off. They keep calling saying I still owe the money. They call my work my house my cell and ALL my reference numbers daily. When they call again I will post the number. DON'T fall for this crap. They called me at work and told me that I was going to be arrested tomorrow morning and that I had better pay by credit card right now. I told the lady to f**k off and before I hung up she said she was contacting human resources of my company to get a garnishment on me. They are all liars they cannot do any such thing nor will you go to jail. PLEASE DO NOT FALL for this CRAP!!!!!
