So Ive already given over $400 to these guys because they told me about a loan I had that was delinquent but I had moved states and was unable to pay it back and then I was struggling on some of the payments so then I get a call and the man James Waldorf that I have been dealing with began to verbally bully me over the phone telling me I was full of empty promises and Im full of excuses and he was so rude he was attacking my character made me feel so small I actually began to cry and I was to my point where I said I will try and find some money hung up and he calls me back and then bullies me some more and says if you were really trying you wouldn't be on the phone arguing with me and I stated you called me back and he goes well that's cause I was unsure if you hung up or the call dropped and he said I had to come up with at least $50 by noon the next day. So I hung up again but I felt so wrong I didn't want to give my money to these people and omgsh yeah was compelled to research this after that and I regret not doing it sooner, who would I contact about the harassment Ive gotten from this?

I sure wish one of these scammers would call me.  I could use the entertainment.

Yes they have shady tactics but you owe the money ask for original contract lian amount and tell them thats all your paying get a pre paid card so they have no access to your bank account and pay your [removed] bills

Considering the shady tactics used by this company one must question the legitimacy of ANY debt they claim is owed.

Unless they can provide proof (written, verifiable, something other than a piece of paper created by them) then one must assume the debt is not valid.

If a debt is legitimately owed, then yes, a person must pay what they owe. If proof cannot be provided then they most likely do not owe it or the statute of limitations has passed, they have a similar name to the actual owner of the debt or it is made up all together.

Just because a debt collector calls does not mean the debt is legit. Research and ask for proof.

Is English your first language?  Can you even read?  Half of the people posting in this discussion made no mention of any debt, and regardless of your opinion of shady tactics, the FDCPA is fairly clear on what is and is not allowed.

But hey, why pass up the chance to insult consumers and curse at them, right?

What I meant to say is that there is "no truth in advertising" in my moniker.  Our tactics are so shady they violate every law on the books as well as the laws of morality.  You can ask for the original contract but you won't get it because we don't have it, as a matter of fact, we aren't even real debt collectors but are really criminals.  I just wish I could pay my f***ng bills, but momma takes all my money for room and board in her basement even though I am 50 years old, and
I thought I would have some money left over but it seems the check my employers gave me to pay for me showing the world what a loser I am bounced all the way to Pluto and back.

omg i have been paying them for 2 months now because i owe a debt to payday loans and i really want to pay it off so i decided ya,they told me that theyd help me so i wouldnt go to court..can someone tell me if i should go on with my payments every paycheck or stop?????

Wow! I was looking for the phone number to Shadow Creek Capital and look where it landed me! I have made 5 payments to these people just to find out how bad I have been scammed. Do they forward the money to your debtor? I did owe the money and thought this was legit, even set up direct pay on a monthly basis. They called my family in Florida who I don't even have their phone number and told them I was in a lot of trouble.....now I see this. I feel like such a fool. Right now, I am trying to get back almost $200 of my money since I authorized it and now I learn of this. They would call me each month on the 2nd and tell me that they were going to withdraw the money....the last two months I have heard NOTHING. Now, I don't know what I am going to do. BEWARE!!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONE.

Why would you try to lie to us??? I KNOW that Shadow Creek Capital is fraudulent. I did owe the money they spoke of however, they were NOT who the creditor gave my account to. Sad thing is, I am naive, am on disability and they got 100's of dollars from me before I found out how horrible of a company (termed loosely) they are.
