There is a nationwide phone scam going on with WAKA NETWORK. They call and claim you will get a prize for taking a stupid survey. Then they want $$ to give you an additional gift card worth $100 or so. Their charges are as low as $2.99. Don't fall for it. I have been called three times by them. I live in So Cal and they are using 562-286-5514 and 562-286-5513, supposed from Huntington Beach. There are blogs on ripoffreport and other sites. They are everywhere. Be careful and hang up the phone and report it. Would some lawyer like to start a class action suit on this company. It is registered in NV.
I had a great time tormenting waka Network today, I called them 200 * in a couple hours, if you pay attention you can tell when it's a real person... if everyone would do this every chance they get call them herealot they would have to many fake calls and there employees would be spending time with fake cars instead of the next victim, they're ratio of getting money out of people in paying employees will screw them, the girl laughed at me and said I'm paid by the hour..... I thought gotcha they pay someone's wages and not screw people out of money there's no benefit for them to continue doing it...... the girl I was messing with was absolutely furious by the time I was done. boy did that feel good I hate thieves and liars

I kept getting messages saying i had won a gas card and a walmart gift card from an online survey. Press 1 to continue on with my rewards or press 2 to opt out. Well i continued to Press 2 to no avail. They continued to call me harassingly about 12 times per day even tho i never answered and called back at least once a day and pressed 2 !! I finally called my cell phone carrier and had them help me deal with the scammers. Hopefully i can enjoy peace and quiet once again instead of this BS !! You can tell it is a computer on the other end because no matter what you say its the same response. So add your number to the Do Not Call List and it opts you out of this sort of crap. I did !! DO NOT GIVE them ANY information whatsoever !!

I get called numerous times a day every day starting early in the morning till late at night. I live in Southern California now but still have a NC phone number & usually I just hang up or ignore it all together, but once in a while you just get so tired of it that you answer it to tell them NO QUIT CALLING ME!!!!!! The last time I answered one the guy sounded Indian or something, it took me saying hello like three times then he said he was from some company (I couldn't understand) & that I had been chosen to win a $100 Walmart gift card, I automatically said NO THANK YOU & TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST & DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN!!! Which is what you are supposed to do & by law they are supposed to do. Well he starts stammering no no it's not like that, you have truly won! I again repeated what I said the first time & hung up, (My husband thinks I'm to rude some times to solicters because I will always just say NO THANK YOU & hang up or shut the door in their face or walk away from them in front of stores) but I'm like if I want something I know how to get it I don't need someone shoving it in my face! Well needless to say the phone calls have continued to come, & I have continued my ritual of ignoring or answering & telling them to stop & take me off their list. But of course it's all to no avail. Hell even with a NO SOLICITORS! sign right on my front door they still continue to come to my door! So in life whatcha gonna do? Just politely say no thank you! and turn and walk away, because in the end it's not worth letting it get you all worked up, just be glad you are not the person on the receiving end of that conversation!!!! Everyone have a GREAT DAY!!!!

I received 4 of these calls just yesterday. I did not answer. When trying to call them back last night, the number "was not in service". I just got another call - same phone number in Savannah, GA - 912-200-7032. This time I answered. After saying HELLO 3-4 times, I was advised by a canned voice that for taking their survey, they were thanking me by giving me $100, a gas card($10) and another type of gift certificate. They instructed me to go to their website and only then did I read all the scam emails. Thank you for posting and hope everyone else reads FIRST before they fall for any of this !
Lol i just received a call from them from 912-721-7925 saying that i won a $100 gas card and a $50 walmart gift card lol, they walked me through the web-site and said that there was no charge but on the secon step they asked for my credit card number so I hung up.

I am getting a call from 937-912-1051 and it is them trying to give me $60 in walmart and $100 in gas. How do I get them to stop calling me?
These BUZZARDS started calling us February 1, 2013 from 7 to 15 calls a day. We would never answer. Finally on February 5, 2013 I answered in hopes of telling them to stop calling. The Robo female voice became belligerent with me so I hung up. 3 seconds later my phone rang and on the Caller ID it was showing "my name and phone number". Based on this tacit I called the FCC and filed a complaint. This is called "ID Spoofing". I was also advised to register on the Do No Call and to start filing on-line complaints to the DNC and the FCC sites.
By February 20th we had 109 DNC complaints and 75 FCC complaints.
As of February 25th, we have not had any Scam calls to date as of this posting. I say let's all band together and file the complaints as the calls come in (I did) and let's pluck a few feathers from these VULTURES. Why let them pick our bones and credit cards dry?

The Wakanetwork just called me this afternoon at 12:30 claiming I had completed some survey for a Walmart gift card. I never shop at Wamart let alone complete on line surveys. They instruct you to go to your computer to log onto their site,Wakanetwork.com. I did and at the bottom of one of the pages they want your credit card number. I was not submitting that and hung up. Don't fall for any of these unsolicited phone calls just hang up and block the number. The number they used today is 973-440-8982. I blocked it on my phone.
I just filled a form and they said I woukd get a message, but I never did. worse, they have my card number because I purchased the $2.99 offer. And also, I think they're going to chsrge me $19.99 every month. Help plz!
Call the bank that issued the charge card. Do it NOW. Quick, before the scammers spend all of your money. Tell the bank what happened. They can close the account and open a new one with a new number. You'll still have to pay the charges you made but no more money will go to the scammers.
Good Grief. Call the FCC and report this. Call your bank and close everything and start over again.
Register on the Do Not Call and then start filing complains to the Do Not Call and the FCC on-line sites.
I did non-stop everyday for a month for every phone call. As of today the Waka calls have stopped as well as all the other SCAM phone calls.
Come on people read some of the previous post about these VULTURES. Don't let them pick your wallet and credit cards dry. Pluck a few feathers off of the BUZZARDS.
