- Geri replies to BobWhen ever they call I allow them to update my page. No sweat off my back if they search for my business, that's one more booste for my positition on google lol... Thanks for these posts...they almost had me.
- Mark Webb replies to SteveHardly! Biggest scam around! How much did you get paid to falsely talk about this company? They are a piece of crap, a public annoyance, and should be shut down.
- julieOnce you here the robot saying "you have not updated your Google listing..." Wait for it and after "press 1 to update" it'll say "press 9 to be removed off the list". I pressed 9 so hopefully they will stop calling!

- Nick| 2 repliesThis is total bull [***] company. They call me every day but when you ask for company they hang up. To make the thing easy anybody that gets bother please file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
Do this for sure as many complaints they receive they can be prosecuted for harassing people. I personally removed my self from they list but no matter what they keep calling.
Their business address is:
BrandRep, Inc.
16812 Armstrong Avenue
Suite 200
Irvine, CA 92606
Phone Number 800 405 7119
Their website is Brandrep.com and if you do a who is record everything is hidden.
Again this is a company that does fraud and nothing will be done with your business. - Robert replies to Alex| 1 replyWe fell for this and signed a contract with them. Any suggestions?
- rachael replies to JoshuaHow can I get out of the contract with them? any ideas please help.
- Jim-LA replies to RobertDepending on the details of the contract, it may not be binding in your State. It is more likely to be subject to the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) adopted by your State. Since BandRep is located in California, the following UCC may be in effect: http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/calawquery?codesection=com
UCC Article 2 (Div 2 in California law) would be the section that would cover the sales type contract you signed. BandRep is probably in breach of the terms of the contract (non-performance and/or fraud) and you may have to demand remedies from them. One of the remedies could be to cancel the contract, or make it null and void immediately (or retroactive to some date). If they do not comply, take them to court and ask for substantial damages (compensatory, consequential, punitive, liquidated, and attorney fees).
You might also file a complaint with the FTC for fraudulent business practices here: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
If you have some contract law experience you may be able to fight the contract yourself. If not, you should seek a contract law attorney to assist you. Following is only an example of such a lawyer, I have no association with him, but his site has some good reference material: http://www.biklaw.com/breach-of-contract-attorney-los-angeles - TO_DUMB_STEVE_THE_SCAMMER replies to SteveYOU ARE A COMPLETE FAKE...

- EmI work as a front desk receptionist at a law firm. I am the one that gets and transfers all the calls where they need to go. I swear I get this call about 4 or 5 times everyday claiming that our business listing on Google needs to be updated. Today I got a call from them with a new message. The robo-woman said that our business listing with Google was going to be suspended and if we did not update it today that people would think that our business is closed. I listened and laughed, but then I got on the phone with one of them and he asked if he was speaking with Chris. I told him no that we have no one here by that name and he said okay we will call back later and hung up. Now if I told you we did not have anyone named Chris working for us why would you call back? And really we don't have anyone named Chris in our office. Nor have we ever.
- Rachel Rose| 2 repliesI work at a grocery store and as a receptionist at a law firm; I have to answer the phone all the time and both business get these calls constantly. The law firm especially gets one almost every day. It's damn annoying the way these people tie up business phone lines and waste employees' time with their scams. I always hung up on them because I know my bosses are not interested and after reading this thread I'm glad I did.
- eddy replies to Rachel Rose| 1 replyI'm surprised they are harassing law firms. If anyone should be able to defend themselves from SEO scammers, you'd think it would be law firms.
- Rachel Rose replies to eddyI wonder if they are using a computer-dialer or something like that (not 100% sure how that works, am not super tech-savvy) and don't even realize that it's a law firm they are calling. I guess law firms could defend themselves pretty well but honestly I don't think they care enough; they are too busy with their cases, etc. to do something about it. Someone should, though!
