I noticed a cluster of the same post being made on multiple threads listed in the home page summery and though we had another one of those hit-and-run posters that cut and paste the same rant over and over. I opened a few tabs to look at just what was being posted expecting to start firing off my own cluster of reports to Julia. Low and behold, when I look at the posts, I find it is our respected ShillKill posting a fairly detailed advisory and I was seeing the posts to the last half dozen phone numbers that he lists.
ShillKill, I wonder, did you post that message to all three dozen plus number threads? (I guess I could look at them all, but I’m feeling a little lazy right now.) Keep up the good work!
Well Nimrod, I'm glad you asked. What is happening is that the dots have been connected regarding the illegal and threatening calls being recieved by consumers from a certain gang of crooks using names like Piedmont Investigations and Kauffman and associates.
The ones who impersonate law enforcement, threaten to arrest folks and even have their kids taken by CPS. You know, the ones who give folks the non existent addresses of the vacant lot in Columbia South Carolina and the Atlanta bus station parking lots. The ones who shill threads to deceive consumers and insult regulars. The same ones who doxed victims who complained (including posting a judgment from a psychiatric hospital for one victim). The same ones who have made deaths threats to consumers. They are tying up the resources of law enforcement agencies across the country with calls from citizens. The good men and women of law enforcement are spend thousands of hours dealing with calls from citizens on these matters, when they should and wish to be patrol the streets keeping citizens safe. And to boot, many of the people they are threatening have paid the accounts. Hell, it appears they even stole their paper.
I've said before I was brought here by the fact I had inherited the cell phone number of a local contractor who took his own life. This was a terribly ironic situation. I know his story because I have coached two of his sons and their lives have been destroyed so I knew the back story. Guy was deep in debt. 95% of the collectors were understanding (heck one woman cried). But one inarticulate piece of human waste curse at me, called me a liar, and told me I would be arrested (highly ironic given what I actually do for a living). I came to 800notes to investigate who this caller was, and it brought me to a Piedmont thread. My ID of ShillKill is based on this mere fact.
Well, this crew has a half dozen names and as you correctly observed a few dozen numbers. A very detailed consumer protection warning of sorts now appears in all of the threads involving any of their numbers. If someone arrives here searching these numbers they will see the truth. It has taken much research, but I have been documenting all along. The reason it does appear "hit and run" was that I didn't want to jump the gun on anything. I managed to located about a dozen new threads an numbers today, hence the machine gun posts
And the AH who cursed me on the phone about a year ago to the day --- no, my name is not Terry W, it is ShillKill. You are not an "investigator", but guess what --- you called a real one. You know what they say about karma?

To anyone who has ever indicated they think they know me due to my AV (including the SEO folks) -- I am who I think you suspect I am.
I would never ever suggest anyone dodge a bill, but I would never suggest any business violate the law (e.g. the FDCPA) I've got bills like the rest of folks -- my mortgage and car note. And yes, I pay them -- even before the grace period starts. In this crazy world and sick economy I've been fortunate enough to have a career that can provide for me and mine. OTOH, in the world we live in I've got all of the empathy in the world for folks hitting rough times just trying to make ends meet and can't pay all of their bills - I wouldn't judge them. OTOH, I'm sure there are folks sitting in cubicles do a job I would never want to do just trying to put food on their table, I wouldn't judge them either

Well, today they just doxed another consumer. A gentleman shared his experience with the "company" and naively posted his real name. They posted his tax lien record (it was less than a grand, and for state tax). Of course this would include his home address for the whole world to see and he was mocked as a "deadbeat". The post was reported and I would like to than the staff at 800notes for what I suspect was the quickest clean up in board history.
My pleasure Res! This has been an enlightening journey for sure. It was surely a set of random events that have led me to this point in this journey. The fact I knew the guy and got his recycled number. Then I google the number of the abusive reprobate and the it lead me to a thread here only see an illiterate shill typing in caps who clearly didn't even pass their GED on 50 attempts. In retrospect I'm glad I got the call since I have a unique "skills set" that could prove useful. The working "profile" I had in my head of the caller was consistent with poster in the thread.
I wonder to what degree did this type of harassment play in the mental health issues of Terry? He had a thriving business before the down turn and it really hit the building trades very hard in my part of the country. He had done some work on my property and it was of the highest order.
Still breaks my heart since his hanging body was discovered by wife and kids one day when they returned home form school. I'm going to "ride till I die" on this one

My apologies again for a rash of postings. Turns out this crew of reprobates are also going by Greenman, Schwartz & Associates and using an Atlanta address.
The challenge from the "heads of the hydra" business model is finding them all to be counted. I imagine yet more will be revealed in a surely exhausting process. I don't need apologies for connecting such well hidden dots, and without an agenda of selling a blocking device or hawking a law firm. That's part of why this site exists.

Lord only knows how many other people have taken their own lives as a direct result of harassment by these criminals. A wrongful death death suit would be too good for them.
