called with a case number bla bla bla if you know this person...scam...same message with this different phone number than they had used before.

I have been getting automated computer calls from this # on a daily basis.  Have called them several times asking that my # be removed and they won't do it.  When you call, they don't even answer with a business name.  When I ask what the name of the company is, they hang up!  This is a scam.  Do not fall for it!

I have been getting calls from this number and others over the last several months.  I tell them to take me off the list and they say they will but keep calling.  I just received one and when I pressed the number to talke to someone as soon as I told her I wasn't the person they were looking for, they hung up.  I called back and asked to be removed from the list again.  I assume they are a collection agency as they always ask for the same person.  I have had this number for about 12 years.  I don't know how to stop it.  

Received calls. Scam! They need reported ASAP! Harassment

I got a call from this number the ladies name was Hilary Daniels claiming to be investigating me from a law firm. I am so sick of these people calling. She called my son phone number. I don't owe her or anyone else anything.

When they say they represent a law firm ask them what state they're licensed in & the attorney(s) bar number. I did this, they be got scared & hung up. I called them back to scare them. I told them I was investigating their act & to be on the lookout. Don't let these idiots scare you!. I'll take of them.

They have been harassing my mom
For the last 20 twenty minutes saying my mom would be arrested I took it in my own hands I'm 19 and they wouldn't tell me the company or anything at all just investigators and they hung up.... Someone needs to stop it asap

This lady called my daughter's cell phone, my parents home phone, and my father-in-law's phone I'm being investigated and was given a case number.

Receive a call from this number 2 days ago from  some lady claiming to be an investigator. she stated I owed a payday loan to some company.  I told her I did not have a payday loan. now they called me back stating my name, ssn, birthday,  etc. then says pick her up without bond.  This is the first time I've heard of this.

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot) or Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station). They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”

My daughter called saying their are from Wachovia and they have been trying to get in touch with me. I do not owe Wachovia any money. They have been calling my family that have no idea on what's going on. I called today, they are claiming that they are a debt collector representing a law firm. Stating that I was going to be summon to appear in court in Oregon on May 19th for a payday loan. She had all my information and past and present address but have not yet to receive a summon to appear in court and today is the 13th.  The company name is Nationwide asset and recovery said my bank account was close in 2009 for insufficient fund and they see that I was paying on the loan. Gave them my bank card info and they email me documents to sign. Read documents company is located in charlotte, nc . I would be investigating them further. I have been threatened to be summon two years ago and have yet had a sheriff come serve me papers.  Documents do not state the name of the payday loan. Payday loan is not listed on my credit report.  Now I'm seriously cancelling my bank card.
