Leslie Griffen replies to whistles don't work
Some people's voices are so loud that I have to hold the phone well away from my ear; so a whistle should work well.

Gasp! Don't tell me that the FTC actually did something! Oh wait...that was over three years ago.

In order to make it look to Congress like they're doing something constructive, the FTC occasionally goes after low-hanging fruit like this case. In almost all of these cases, the scammers leave behind years worth of paper trails and aren't careful about concealing their identities.  So, this is one success story out of the billions of illegal calls we deal with every year. The FTC would really impress me if they could stop those annoying Windows technical support calls, but I guess that's asking way too much.

Criminals like using this mode because of the fact that it is time-consuming and difficult to catch them and make it stick.  Hope these criminals receive a big payout from Karma!  Hate these b*stards!

Were you so desperate to get some money you didn't check out your contract ?
Sometimes being stupid hurts , and it's not up to everyone else to " fix "  your bad decision .

And??? All assets, including real properties and money, of these two opportunists criminals should be seized, real property and motor vehicles auctioned, victims fully compensated and any residual deposited into the U.S. Treasury. If these two thought they had it bad before they started making money off of innocent folks they will find that their new status will be
    the lowest of the low.
