    wondering
Who is this? I don't answer any calls with numbers I don't know but I've received calls and text messages from this number a couple of weeks ago within two days, then it stopped for a few days then it started again with the recent one yesterday.  I will be calling my provider and report it even if they can't do anything about it.  If reported enough, it may initiate something to be done.

Received a call at 4:03 a.m. Sunday morning from 000-000-0000; luckily ringer was off!  They did not leave a message.  Since such a number does not exist, someone is clearly trying to hide something!  The "big" wireless companies need to do something about these frauds.

    Not paranoid
Government calls trying to get into your computers to start the keyboard strokes or look at everything you have and are accessing!! They used to call from a phone number that started with V at my home and now it is the 000 number!! It sounds crazy but it is not. I could tell you more but then they might come and visit us again!! Seriously...the FBI came to my home to look at a computer in my house for made up reasons and came away with nothing!! Thus my name!! I am not paranoid...just cautious.  Remember anyone in any government agency can and will access your computer at their whim!! They can do it most easily through a fake phone call!!

Am in Toronto. They called last night when I was out - no msg. left. Today, they called at 2:30 and I picked it up. Got dead air and then a recorded voice saying good bye.

Amazing to find 154 page of complaints here over just a 3 week period. Must be several companies or scammers using an internet phone service.

To continue from my last message, not 5 minutes ago (having now established that my number is valid) I got another call from a bogus number trying the Microsoft support scam/fraud. Was somebody from an Indian Call centre, asking me how I was.  I told her I'd be better if she was not trying to pull a fraud, cursed at her and she hung up.

    BFF -706-708-6104 Mike Ingram
Harassing phone calls - A woman reported that her boyfriend, Mike Ingram of Commerce is calling and threatening her because she is breaking up with him. She said he had threatened to come to her home and damage her truck. She told officers that her and Mike Ingram of Commerce  have split up before, but she keeps going back to him but this time it is over. Officers explained the TPO process to her.

I just got a call from someone named (somebody) Parker, of the CCIRC saying they had a complaint against me, I had to ask him a couple time to get him to repeat Canadian Cyber Incident Response Centre clearly enough.  By the time he did that, the line went dead, so I think he gave up on me. I didn't think the CCIRC was a real organization, but I did find it on-line.  They weren't the ones calling thought.  I found this web site by googling CCIRC+ phone calls. The call display indicated 000-000-0000.

    Withheld
This number called me yesterday and I just ignored it. It did not leave a message. Called again this morning and I answered it. I said "Hello" multiple times but all I got was silence. Twice is enough. I have a device called Digitone Call Blocker that works! I push "Block" twice and next time or any time they call - they hear one ring and a disconnect. I hear nothing, but it shows up on my Digitone as being blocked. I love it.

I left Linda approximately 30 messages. Some included long silences ending in me saying "Goodbye" in various strange voices. In one I read a Disney World ad that just happened to pop up on my computer, and in another i recommended that she goes bear hunting at the zoo. There are many more but I think you get the picture. Thank you for the number. It was quite amusing, and seeing as she's "running a business" she will have to listen to all of them because she doesn't know if they're all prank calls :)

After several days with 3 or 4 calls a day I finally answered it.  They knew my name and were trying to promote something for diabetes.  They knew I was a diabetic.  Hmmmm.  The guy on the phone had such a heavy accent that I couldn't understand much of what he said.  He was still talking when I told him to take my number off their list and hung up.  I got another call within 10 minutes that I didn't answer and haven't heard from them since.

This caller scared the heck out of me.  I let my answering machine pick it up, no body talked to me, but to each other.  Could hear little children in the back ground.  I had no clue what they were saying or what language.  They called back a few hours later, and the only English words were, " your mother? sure this is your mother?"  My son lives out of state, and I had not heard from him in a while, so it freaked me out.
Got a hold of my son, and he said he got a call from the same number, saying he owed yadda amount of money on an old bill, and would settle for a certain amount, unfortunately he thought it was legit, and they wiped out his pre-paid debit card!

This number has been dialing my house every day at least one a day for the past two weeks.

I have blocked the number in my phone so that hopefully they will go away but not likely.

Been receiving multiple calls from this number. First time I picked up (wasn't paying attention) and a man with broken English told me my computer was broken (or something, very hard to understand) and he wanted me to go turn on my computer. I asked what company he was from and he said he was with Microsoft Support. I told him I don't use Microsoft products. He then said he was calling about my Apple Laptop. :) I told him, no thank you, even though I hadn't a clue what he wanted other than for me to turn on my computer, and he said in a hurry that he was sorry but that my computer had been reported to the FBI. Then got off the phone. Good grief.
