- annoyedThe 0000000000 called, left no message. Don't know the jerk is.
- MontyI have set my voice mail to pick up after six rings. No one ever waits that long. But if you want to have some fun, just answer the phone with, "Michael Bolton" as a spoof on the TV commercial that says "Don't call Michael Bolton."
- JoelCaller I.D. reads Name Not Found. Phone # (000) 000-0000 They call me every day. I just click on and click off. It's hard to believe that this marketing technique would yield any positive results but it does! I had a lady friend call me asking if her husband should let these people connect to their PC to speed it up for $135.00! They were actually considering it!
- Caller: Name Not Found
- AlbyThis number keeps ringing my phone nonstop argh!!
- NKI recently had the "brilliant" idea to start doing online surveys hoping to make a little extra cash, and foolishly signed up for just about all of them instead of just sticking to one or two I knew would actually be worthwhile. Well, I realized my mistake when I started getting about a dozen calls from random numbers every day, so I unsubscribed from and cancled all but two of them and all the calls pretty much stopped. Then a couple days ago this 000-000-0000 number started calling me and it freaked me the heck out, because I've never heard of a number like that. I still haven't answered, I'm almost afraid it'll be more detrimental if I do, but I'm almost certain this has all been caused from my "brilliant" idea. Thankfully I didn't give out any real personal information. But I'm going to take a few of you posters' suggestion and just block the number. It's getting to be too much, especially at 3:30 am.

- disgusted and aggravatedregister your phone # with the do nt call registry then ask callers for their name, company name and company phone #. Then tell them you are on the Do Not Call List and it's a $10,000 fine every time they call you (no BS, there is such a thing and it is expensive to violate it). Most companies will stop calling you. If not you can go on line and report them. You canr egister home and cell #s.
- Caller: U S Finance - I think, the guy hardly spoke english
- Call type: Telemarketer
- msmargiecda replies to GrumpyolemanYou don't know what you're talking about. My phone identifies these calls as "private" or "number unavailable."
- Laurie replies to Chynacat| 242 repliesI have received the same thing twice this week. Once I answered just because I was curious what lame company had a 000-000-0000 number and all it was was silence and finally a recorded "goodbye". Today I let it ring when I saw the same number on the caller ID and the same thing is now on my answering machine....just a pause and then "Goodbye".
So strange. - CCMThis call came through my Google voice number forwarded to my cell and was from Waste Management alerting to a schedule change in trash pickup. I suspect the multiple zeroes are from a call center and can be used by multiple companies.
- Caller: Waste Management
- Call type: Event reminder

- IndianaGuy5-25-2013: I just got the call as well 000-000-000 picked it up no sound at all. In most cases when you see a number like that just a telemarketer , or something else once had a call from a cell phone that did not have a number listed. The best way to deal with a number like this or other number that's unknown to you just let answering machine kick on if no machine don't answer it. If the person calling is legit they will try calling back.
I have seen calls using odd phone numbers but when you answer it , its a group calling for like the F.O.P looking to get money from people. The use to go by a different number but that number got reported due to the spam calls it did.
The DNC list does not always help some places tend to slip by or find a loop hole around it . - JohnPhone number called me the number was 0000000000 i answered noone said anything i hung up tried to call back it tells me your call cannot be completed as dialed WTF
- harry haymarketwhose caling my howse??? the guy says i am past due on my bills. he said the cops are coming to git me. what is gowing on heir.
- Caller: all os
- WargirlThe zero number has called me today, 5/27/2013 about a dozen times. I didn't answer it 9 of those times, answered the 10th, 11th, and 12th. The 12th call was the charm, they didn't hang up. I answered with, "What the f**k do you want??" A man very carefully said "hello?" I lit into him with both feet. Dunno how well the guy spoke English, but apparently he understands it well enough to know when he was getting a cussin'. He hung up. It's been an hour now with no call-backs from that number. The next time he calls, I'm gonna be really nice, mess with him a bit, and see how he likes it.
- Cass Langer replies to confused| 1 replyI got several of these 000-000-0000 phone calls. When I spoke to the person on the line, he asked me if I liked magazines, I asked him why the caller id of 000-000-0000. He stated that the company didn't want people calling back clogging up their lines. I asked him to remove me from their list and hung up. I received another call today, this time the Man said his name was Treavor. I was being nice, trying to obtain information. He stated that he was from some kind of publisher, speaking very fast, and that I was selected because I had a master card or visa. (Who doesn't??). Anyway, I asked him nicely, before he continues to ask me questions, could I ask him a few questions...He said no and hung up. I was able to block this phone number through Verizon Wireless. Hope this helps.
