    Not a fool
Yesterday October 21, 2014 Joe called from an unknown caller i.d. saying he was from Muscular Dystrophy.  I immediately told him his number shows as unknown and that I was on a no call list and he immediately said they were a non profit org.  I continued to tell him never to call me again and in the middle of my rant, he hung up.  I knew he was after a donation and he must really think people would be stupid enough to donate anything on the phone, in this day and age.

Although registering on the National Do Not Call List will stop some of the annoying calls, there are ways for these people to get around it. Such as using a fake number like 1-000-000-0000. You cannot file a complaint with the Do Not Call website when you receive calls from numbers like this as no one on the planet has this phone number. Many telemarketer companies and scam artists use programs to hide the number of the phone they are calling from causing your caller ID to come up with Unknown Caller, Out of Area, or Name Not Found along with a bogus phone number like the one above.

Grammar and intellect are important, I agree. However, two more important qualities to possess would be compassion and kindness. Lack of grammar and intelligence won't place you in the fiery pits of hell for eternity but a lack of a kind heart very well might. The mere need to debase someone to make yourself feel superior is sad and shows you to be a very lonely and insecure individual. God loves you and will hopefully one day soften your heart.

These F+++s need to be shot!! Calling at all odd times to harrass and extract money.  Hopefully all of these disgusting Indian people get way worse than Diabetes...I am Indian and ashamed of such people. I don't answer their calls anymore...best way to deal with them is to ignore their calls...

This number appeared on my caller Id at the same time my parents received a call. Theirs was the "your PC is infected and you need us to control it and fix it" scam and I highly suspect my call was for the same thing had I answered it.

Similar to Ann Noid, I refuse to answer a call when the caller id is obviously bogus. If it wasn't for an acquaintance whose cell phone shows Out of Area, I wouldn't answer any of those calls, either.

It was a call from "God Himself":

The first question: how old are you ?
Second question: when you want to die?

The right answer: "I want to die in 120 years"

10/16 15:06 PDT  This is just so ridiculous.  Who, in their right mind, with caller ID, would answer a call coming from this crap non-number?  I'm guessing the only people who answer are those with no call ID, like my 94 yr. old mom.  What really frosts me, though is that it rang a dozen times in voicemail before finally stopping.  Obviously, no message was left.  What a shock!!  I still don't understand why we have no way of stopping these creeps and crooks.  They have all sorts of ways of getting around the laws and regulations and all we can do is report something that can't be tracked.  Right now, my frustration is pretty high with all the political, fraud, telemarketing, scams, etc. bombarding me.  Particularly since, for nearly a week, I was without use of my only computer and I had to restore it but I lost a lot  pictures and documents with the restoration.

Of course we didn't answer this call...  Everyone knows 000 000 0000 is a common spam caller.  Strange though just had a call from another perp seconds before.  That # was 514-673-0390 which is also known on 800 notes.  Good job 800 notes - glad you are here for us!

I got calls from this number after I blocked all of the other Spam numbers calling. Here's a list of the calls   10/28 9:28 pm 10/27 8:34 pm 10/27 5:34 pm 10/26 5:48pm 10/25 7:36 pm.  They have called everyday multiple times.  I called *60 to block this number and entered the number as 000-000-0000  the call block automated service identified this number as 877-200-7217. So I suggest if you have a carrier that has call block enter the number there and you will find out the actual number that is calling. when I googled this number it was not clear but looks like a mortgage refinance company.  If they were legit would not hide their identity.

Wes, please read where you are posting to, if you did you would read that all the people posting here are receiving calls just as you are and we are NOT making the calls.

This is a great place to get information regarding phone numbers that are calling people as well as adding any information you may have. If anyone had the knowledge of ending these calls, we wouldn't need to share info.
