Got another call (the first one was at exactly 11:00 am CST) from this number on my landline today (2/24/15) at 11:38 am (CST). The answering machine took the call again, but they still didn't leave a message. I manually added this number to my call block list. We'll see if it works when/if they call back. I hope it does if they do.

Yeah, I keep getting calls from this number. It's either silence or someone asking for someone else in my household.

Received a call from 0000000000, it was supposedly me, calling me. They had a picture of me, you know for caller ID. When someone I know calls it usually shows a picture. This is getting scary!  Identity theft! I did not answer it!

Been getting this call id for a couple of years.
    6 times a year?
Must be lucrative in some way since the activity
    continues.
Another reminder of what does and does not make the world a better place for all.

No matter how numerous the calls from this number are, hopefully, no one is foolish enough to actually ANSWER calls from such an obviously phony caller!

We receive many scammer calls, but this number is a new one for us.  It came in on my private cell phone, and I only give that number out to close friends and family, or as an emergency contact for doctors' offices.  Obviously, that number raises all kinds of red flags, and I didn't answer the call.  I received this call on Sunday afternoon, which shows how little respect they have for any kind of restrictions.

Ever wonder what kind of a person would expect anyone to answer a call from caller ID = "out of area 0000000000"?
I sometimes wonder why anyone would even bother to answer!

If you are foolish enough to answer calls from such a number as 000- 000- 0000, then your intelligence level is an '0'.

000-000-0000 called me today at 5:30 AM today, obviously I was sleeping and just let it go to voice mail. They did leave a voice message saying they were the IRS and that they have tried to get a hold of me many times (No they haven't, this was the first and only time they have called) and that they are filing a law suit against me. They said I need to call 202-559-5406 to learn more about it. The message wasn't from a real person, it was a machine. I did a reverse look-up of that number and it said it was a landline phone number from Washington, DC.

Finally this noisy caller room could HEAR me answer this time so responded with
    (etiquette = F) protocol
    "is (my name) there?"
I had to explain THEY were supposed to ID themselves FIRST, as they are strangers calling in, using our line, interrupting business
and to put me on their no call list

Well, she explained all they wanted to do was to update my data on file fro a trade journal I was already receiving, to continue this free subscription.

More strongly put this time, I underlined all the above transgressions
    +
never want to deal with them over this issue
talking to a 000 number, no caller id
when this can be done by mail etc. in a less disturbing way.

Are teenagers running the world now?

    PESTs

Must be the 4th time to interrupt/bother

The person (with a very heavy accent) who called knew my name and said he was with the U.S. States Government. I asked him to remove my number (this was the 3rd call) or I would reoort him and he said,
    "Suck my d*** b****!"
