- stanleythegreatJust don't answer. Another one of humanity's endless annoyances in the modern world. Like the TV weather people who spread endless fear and anxiety over the chance it's going to rain/snow/sleet/hail/blow/get cold/get hot/get too dry/get too wet, somewhere sometime tomorrow.
- RayYou could be right about the Verizon Broadband number. I get this call periodically and it resembles a number when a Skype number calls a landline. I have Skype and if I call my landline, I get the number
000-001-2345. - VDA replies to caller 000 000 0000| 2 repliesSeeing as how you used to work for one of these lame [***] call centres, it's not unexpected you would come up with such a bulls**t excuse on their behalf.
Computer automated dialers (which is what these call centres use!) are required BY LAW (in the US, Canada and most other countries that I know of) to display a valid callback number where a live person can be reached. Also, when a person being called DOES get a live person and requests contact information, this is ALSO required by law. Unfortunately, just like collection agencies, you idiots don't seem to get it. I hope you all rot in hell, and may God help you (since he's the only one with the power to save you!) if I ever meet any call centre employee in person, since I have no fear of an assault charge for breaking a few bones. It's called justifiable temporary insanity! - CuriousI've only got a call from them once. I answered and the people hung up. This also happened with a california call, except i could call back. But no answer.
- BMBMReceived a call today by this phone number and no message was left behind--I 'd like to know how these 'companies' get hold of my number. Frustrating.
- MRI used to receive calls from thsi number all the time. On the voicemail it was some recording sounding like a 900 lady. To illustrate the absurdity, I am a female and I do not call 1-900 lines. She would say something like we miss you sexy we havent heard from you in awhile. Call us, we need you. But they would leave no number. Because I didnt answer, it would call back in 10 seconds, then 30 seconds, then 1 minute. then randomly after that until it finally stopped. Very odd.

- a personmy husband has had the same problums with all of you and he lives in the alabama area. he never answers any numbers he dont know, and this is true annoyance, any suggestions ?
- Caller: I have no clue
- TfleaI've gotten a call once from this number. Your best bet is not to answer the phone. I know it sounds cliche, but it works. I work all the time, so I'm never home to answer the phone. I check my caller ID and certain numbers call up to five times, but because I never answer, they just stop calling. Most of these companies are trying to sell you things you don't need, or just trying to scam you out of money. NEVER answer a phone number you don't know unless the name listed is familiar, or from your area code. If you bank of Bank of America, or is you have a Discover card, companies will harass you. Just don't answer the phone and within a few days they'll just stop calling.
- tessai just recieved a call from this number for the first time i understand that the number was spoofed but it was wierd because they knew my mothers name and it was a real person. when i asked if i could take a message he hung up on me.
- Aash4 to 5 calls a day from this number and it is getting annoying.
- clegpegThis one just started again. Used to get it 3-4 times a day @ work. I just don't pick up. When it says "unknown caller", I know who it is always, scammers!!!
- Caller: Unknown name
- Shawn MacThis could ve any number of things actually. I receied several in one day and finally got annoyed enough that I answered...Doh! It was somebody campaigning for Sen. Obama that wanted to know who I was gonna vote for in the upcoming election for president, I said neither and told 'em to not call again.
Long story short these calls are typically coming from phones that do not accept incoming calls so the caller ID is masked as all 0's. Good luck all with all your annoying calls in the future, lol. Take care.- Caller: Research/ Collections/ Surveyor/ Markete

- kittie1973i have received calls from this number quit a few times, and its just not limited to bell canada, i received calls from this number on vonage, and rogers, so guess again. It just annoying and sometimes freaky, and for me i hate to hear an unanswered phone, so it drives me crazy, but try not to answer these types of calls. I am bombarded by all sorts of these mystery phone numbers, and i would relate it to the internet, before i ever got internet i never received these kinds of call, once i started entering information to certain sites on the net, i am plagued with these calls. So just beware of what you enter on the net!
- Spoofed2Interesting comments. I was unfamiliar with this particular scamming technique. I too have received calls on the same 000-000-0000. This individual claimed to represent Verizon wireless, (very believable), and wanted to send me a free updated cellphone, for being a customer. (They were sending "25 out to our area".) I hung-up on him, when he started asking for very detailed personal information.
Verizon suggested I call the police, because they can access phone records, to locate where the calls are coming from.- Caller: Verizon (claiming to be)
