Got a call today from 000-000-0000. I didn't answer and they left a message dealing with a local political race for district court judge

In the last couple weeks ive been called by the 000-000-0000 number.
i answered it todday and the lady a east indian accent statting that she is calling from washington dc, i said [***], she told me i was the [***].

Got several calls from an unknown caller this morning . I did not answer and it came up as 0000000000 on my missed calls . they called every 10-15 min and I finally answer to hear an Indian lady tell me I have been approved by the government for a loan grant of $9000 that I wouldn't have to pay back.. Asked her to please remove my number that I was not interested. Got another call 5 min later to where they just hung up

"Buster Stevens" from Windows wants to help me fix my computer. Oh how very nice of him! (Sarcasm)

Which is exactly why they call.

Indian scammer pretending to be Microsoft Technical Support.

This person continues to call my cell phone and my husband's cell phone multiple times per day (yes, I am gonna block the number) and says "he" is from Federal Government. I'm so sick of it!! I've already registered with the national do not call list.

Fake Microsoft support. Just some Indian or Pakistani scum going after money.

Illegal spoofed call, and illegal spoofed call = SCAM.  Didn't answer (I NEVER answer calls from unfamiliar or fake numbers).  Blocked this number awhile back.

Since when does the IRS own a number such as this, threaten people with lawsuits, and call after 9:00 pm? I swear these Indian and Pakistani scammers really should stop. Do they realize that we are smart enough to know what they are doing and not to fall for it?

I am guessing there are people vulnerable enough to fall victim to some of these scams or these telemaggoters would have given up by now.

That is true. But I have read a lot of stories from people's experiences with them on here and heard about it on the news. I think at least most of us are able to keep our money. But there are a lot of other people who end up losing their money. I was just saying in general, how a lot of people would not answer the phone, mess with the scammers, including having a little fun, (those stories make me laugh), good to have a little humor. There are even those  who come here to lie (like "Lisa Dillon"), and I wonder if they read about their own scams and just think "crap, they know we want their money". You know what I'm saying?

What worries me are the elderly and disabled that aren't aware of these kind of scams. The worst part of many of these scams is that the telemaggoters are based overseas.

This weird number sure gets used a lot. Some scammers just used it to try to make me think it was Microsoft.
