- John DoeThis sh*t is still happening. Got a call from an Asian man (Vietnamese or Phillipino) the all zero phone number, registered to a Daniel Gargiulo, and the call was also from "The Treasury Department", to inform me that I had been selected for some government grant, and I was going to get $9000. Answered a few basic questions (since I knew this was BS), and he told me someone else would be calling me later. Got that call, from 315-217-1441, this time it was an Indian man, and again he reiterated the story, and then asked me how I would like my money. I said, "send me a check", and he said they could no longer do that. I had to either provide a bank account for direct deposit, or provide a debit card. Also said I could go to Western Union, but frankly this made no sense (to receive money, since this was a scam to STEAL money). So once we got to that point, I asked him which prison he would like to go to, as this constitutes fraud, and impersonating a government official. What a load of cr*p. The same number rang me again this morning, but I didn't answer. Man these guys are persistent.

- Sherriem11/03/16 14:51 PDT Agree with telemark - just wish there was some way to block these creeps also, all that shows on my blocker --P-- and it won't accommodate a blacklist report. If you know of some other way to stop these a** holes, would love to hear (or see) it.

- Edith Ann replies to ElizabethGot a call from 000-000-0000 times this week, on one of them sounded like a young girl (babyish talk), broken English. I never answer or even pick up on these calls. That's just what they want you to do. I've tried call block and everything else, a crook can get your number no many times you have your number changed. Just don't answer, they will get pissed off after awhile and quit when they see they can't weasal you out of your money.
- WD, Texas replies to EdwinThank you for the information. Since I've been looking for a job I keep getting a call from all zero's and an IT person told me not to answer it could not only ruin my phone but my life if it is a hacker, which it usually is. Even in this day and age people tend to be too trusting.
For the people upset about the spelling many great minds have learning disabilities, such as Albert Einstein and didn't do their own writing. Or they over hear the phonics sounds or don't recognize them. I have a son who is highly intelligent (IQ 152) but don't ask him to spell. A brother who is a rocket scientist - (182 IQ) and don't ask him to spell things correctly, it just doesn't work for them. But they can solve any computer problem or mathematical equation. - JoAnneI just redialed this #ooo-ooo-oooo and Bell answered !!!
- Caller: eveidently it was Bell
- ValOur wonderful phone companies allowing an obviously non-number to even get through is unbelievable. Not to mention for NINE YEARS NOW!
- Mad personI just got a call from this 000 000 0000 and am outraged and after reading others posts? Just rediculous! Why can't people just leave us the hell alone? Sick of this crap.
- ReceptionSFCAlled displayed 000-000-0000 man asked for a name of an employee. In the event it was a weird legit phone line I did transfer to the employee. Almost immediately got a call back asking for me to verify the person's email address because they reached the voicemail (they didn't leave a message). I informed him that due to privacy policies I can't give that out and he hung up. I feel a legit call would not have hung up without saying goodbye.
