FYI. I read the original comment on the air date, despite my Sunday-night reply here. I can tell you that offends my sense and sensibilities so much I won't even dignify that with a response. Either will I with your other offensive comments.

Move on. Trust me. There's no mulligan for that act.

And I am dealing with a beloved parent in the hospital right now and am very sad, so stop fv^#ing around with my life and continuing to play your games.

There is such a thing as a number starting in zeroes as I have recieved a call from this number. I had returned the call and met a voicemail saying something such as "Hello. This is Qwest services. Please hold on the line while we reach a representitive for you..." And then I hung up. Companies will use these types of numbers...just not sure why... So to those of you who have been recieving calls, yes, it could be a company, or a scam. Either way...

I keep getting these calls, almost daily.  Since I don't answer phone calls from strange numbers, I finally answered it to see who was there.  It was a telemarketing company from Denver.  They were calling on behalf of Seattle Specialties to sell me something.  Anyway, the lady on the other end was very nice, after I asked her for the company number, etc, and so I asked here, how do I get off this list?  and she laughed, and said, just asked me.  So I asked nicely, and she said she would.. I just hope it sticks.

Caller stated she was from the American Indian Relief Council.  I asked why the caller id said Unknown Name and the number was all zeros. She gave no answer whatsoever and kept on talking about why she called.

I put her on hold while she was blabbing on and she eventually hung-up

    I *67 them first. Then dialed 1-000-000-0000
so that they would'nt see my phone number.
I got a recording saying "We're sorry. All circutes are
busy now. Will you please try your call later".
Then I *67 them again. This time I dialed 000-000-0000
without dialing the 1 first and got the AT&T operator
saying "Please dial the area code and number you are calling".
I bought a "Block Box" several years ago. I just block them
out. I'll hear a short ring whenever they call but the caller
    will get a disconnected tone.

It started with a series of unavailable calls late evening May 26th. I would get about one a night that show up as "unavailable" and not answer them, they would always be after 5 pm.
The first 000-000-0000 call popped in May 30th at 7 pm. I figured it was my cell provider b/c I think I answered a call from them before that showed up as all 0's. I pick up, no one speaks, they hang up.
I attempt to call back, of course that does not work. (I don't know why I think that would work, just a thought.)
I get a couple more 0 calls and then get two more calls from numbers out of my area code that don't say anything when I pick up:
515-369-5831 at 11 am today, and 212-777-3456 at 12:12pm today.

And then finally, another 000-000-0000 call, The woman is practically SHOUTING at me, there is a hell of a lot of noise going on in the back and she claims she's from American Shopping Centers and I won something. (haha. yeah right.). I ask her the actual phone number for the company she's representing and after repeating me MY telephone number four times I finally get a toll free number out of her: 866-682-7658, and ask her to please not call me anymore, or at least leave a message when she does because it's really rude to call someone for days straight and not say anything, at least let me say NO THANK YOU.
This resulted in her hanging up on me. =)
