Haha, apparently telling them not to call again doesn't work, just called again!

whoa i just called the number and got to some one lady saying customer service when i was listing Georgia's new true oldies 106.7 and they have not called back since then and all those 2008  posting are wrong because 000-000-0000 is the operators number when someone try's to call from their number just do not pick up and then that person will get charged

"out of area" on caller i.d.

this is a real operator then i just got a lady that says some name so 000-000-0000  is number telemarketers use for long distance phone calls so you can not get them in trouble

I should know better than to answer these calls by now; but sometimes curiousity gets the better of me.  The caller spoke with a slight but intelligible accent.  I am *so tired* of being hounded for money by this group and their numerous similarly-named affiliates! I'm not sure how my number got on their contact list. All they do is pass the buck to one another as to where they got our contact information from. We made the mistake of responding to a couple of their snail mail appeals for donations a few years back; and they *will not* remove us from their list!  I've tried reasoning with them, threatening to report them and finally hanging up on them with no fanfare; but STILL they keep calling! :(  Any suggestions?

Phone call--no message left.

keep getting calls from 000-000-0000 and no one is ever there.  you'll say hello several times and then they hang up.  this is really disturbing.  it freaks me out!

Received a call from 000-000-0000. Tt was Gerald with Kramer & Kramer wanting to schedule an appointment with a person who can make financial decisions for the company.

Gerald left the phone number 303-741-2253 as a call back number.

Sounded like a man just trying to schedule an appointment to sell unnecessary services.

I am constantly getting calls from this number of all 0's mayber 15 - 20 times a day and usually in succession.  I never answer, I just find it incredibly annoying when this happen

my mom got a call from 000-000 *no i didnt forget any numbers* never answered called 2 times!

Got a call and a voicemail from this number.  It was an automated recording from blockbuster letting me know I've had the movies longer than 7 days.

got a call and it was merchants circle. i told them im on the national do not call list and they said they would take me off there vulture list.

Received a call from 000-000-0000 this morning. It was a woman with a horrible accent with Info City Online Directory asking to update our company information.

I asked for her phone number to where someone with authorization to give out information could call back.

She stated," look lady, are you going to give me the information or what?"

Before I could give her a piece of my mind, she hung up.

I answered cause my friend from Korea had a number with 0's in it, but when I answered no one was there.

I goet call 2 times I answered call. No reply from other end. There was typing noise in the background.

Funny people, the 000-000-0000 number is a common number used by Magic Jack a Voice over Internet device sold on TV, anyone trying to lower their phone bill and add a second phone line to thier home uses the Magic Jack. I have one, I am not a spoofer although I do know what hey are, and they do not use the 000-000-0000 themselves allot of them also use MAgic Jack or similar computer based voice over internet systems. The Fed nor the phone companies use the 000-000-0000 number sequence, they have no need to, if they dont want you to know what number they call you from they simply block the number from being show on caller ID systems. Do answer the calls from this number it may be someone you know, Majic Jack does not tell its customers that the number they call from will show as 000-000-0000 on caller id systems. kind of stupid if you ask me, if they told thier customers then the customer could inform the family and friends so they dont disregard the calls from them.

Almost forgot, some telemarketers and phone based sales people working from home use Majic Jack also, so they can call all over the U.S And Canada for only $22 a year. so it could be someone you know, or a sales person or a bill collector that uses home based collectors such as Parker Elliott or others.

They all cooperate with verizon and all this other US companies for shure.
I just had a Verizon home phone installed and a cell phone and immediately started getting tons of telemarketers. 5 times a day!
I wonder if all of the phone places sell my number. This is sick!

The United States is the world champion of charging extra fees.
