I receive a call every day from some phone company....000-000-0000. They say they are calling about my AT&T phone lines. I have asked them several times NOT to call. They keep calling. Now I just hang up on them but it is very annoying when I have customers inb the salon and have to stop to answer calls from  these criminals

    Annoyed
We were getting calls from 000-000-0000 several times a day.  Sometimes the calls were for someone who doesn't live here and sometimes it is about lowering interest rates or winning cruises.  No matter how many times we told them to take our name off of their lists the calls continued.  We had our number changed to an unlisted number yesterday and a  few minutes ago we got a call from the 000 number.  I answered and said hello 3 times with no response.

    Dude,

You're in too deep!  Pull back and get over yourself!  You're not important enough for the government to bother with tapping, unless you're a drug dealer or are involved in some other illegal activity...

    Let's petition the government
I keep getting calls at home and work from 000-000-0000 and it is "(girl's name) with an important message... please hold."  Then a ship's fog horn is heard and "This is your captain speaking!" is shouted as it invites you on a cruise.  I am getting these calls every day.  Our government/law enforcement have to do something about this!

I got a call from an all zeroes number and wondered what it was so I answered and they asked for my grandfather who has been dead for 13 years, and I hung up . After reading all this I'm sure it was a scam, but how did they get his name? I am constantly getting calls from unknown names or 800-numbers and I dont mind them, but I'm really annoyed they would use his name.

OOHH MAN.. the other day I got a call at my officea  from  all 000's and when I answered an operator said "please hokd for a call from ,...." i dont recall the girls name. Then the phone started to dial and ring so i hung up. In my previous experience people have hacked my work line and made long distance call to Romania - nobody noticed until we got a $200 long distance bill from the phone company....

    unplugging my phone
Today I got a call from 000-000-0000. A lady left a message on my voice mail that said, "My name is June. If you are not Kathleen, please hang up. If...". By this time I hear paper rustling in the background and June hung up.

It was a student loan collection agency that always calls wanting us to call her and do their collection work. I have been nice to the people at this agency and I have been extremely rude, as she doesn't live with us and I explained numerous times. They used to say they were going to call every day until we had her call them or until she answered our phone. She lives out of state! Finally I threatened them with our attorney over the phone and by letter. I think June finally found their notes that probably say not to call our number looking for Kathleen becuase there's a crazy beeotch who will answer.

000-000-0000 has been HARASSING ME! They call and ask if I own a computer and ask me to turn on my computer. I start telling them off and telling them to go to hell and they hang up, and 15 minutes later it all starts all over again. Why is this legal?

I'm in Vancouver. I was called twice today and I answered the 2nd time.  This call was a repeat of one that occurred using different phone numbers twice this week.

The defective Windows computer one where some rugrider is pretending that he is in Miami.

I went along with it before telling him that I was not going to do it.

    They will ask you to:
    1. Open the START menu
    2. Click on RUN...
    3. Type in cmd  (enter)
    4. Type in assoc (enter)

I went no further and hung up.

I just got a phone call from this number about a month ago, the guy said it was a credic cad company calling me about one of my credit cards. I also just got another one 2 minutes ago saying that i have won two tickets for an Alaskan cruise. What a bunch of [***].

Callers with a Caller ID of 000-000-0000 is deliberately blocking their number. You have no way of verifying who they are. The phone company does not officially support a caller id of 000-000-0000

Do not trust them, do not believe anything they say.

If they are soliciting for money, they are crooks hang up on them.

If they ask you to take a survey, they are harvesting information for identity theft. Hang up on them.
