I have since 14 May 2013 been recieving up to 3 calls a day from this number The call either cuts when I answer or I hear a message saying "please hold while I... & then it cuts. If I call back then it is engaged.

i just received a call from this 011 590 7000 number and its always engaged, sumthing must be done abt these people,

I got a call from this number when I unswerd they hang off.

I received a call from this number a moment ago for the first time. When I answered, the automated message, "Please hold while we connect you" came on. A moment later, I was connected but no one spoke, and there was unidentifiable background noise (e.g. someone in a busy place)

I got a call from this number today 011 590 7000 - It was MTN cell service provider varyfying my billing address etc.

today and yesterday I have received a call for 4 seconds with this number, are they accessing private documents on our phones?

What the hell is going on with this number, since from yesterday I received a call from it when I tried calling back it's engaged...whoever it is really they bugging us - making us get worried over a stupid call hai man pls get a grib

I also had a missed call from this number and on calling back its engaged must be a call centre

something must be done' this number stil exist and is irritating.

This number went quiet for a while, but now seems to be calling in full force.  Also had the experience of answering and receiving fresh-air on the other side.  Never tried to call it back, though.
Funny - the person on the other end doesn't seem to realise that if you didn't answer the first time, you are most likely not going to be available for the next three calls within 2-minute intervals of each other.

Got a call from this number. They are trying to access personal information, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING. The guy is quite aggressive but don't let them fool you. If MTN and Fashion stores need to outsource the confirmation of personal details then I certainly don't want to be a customer.

This is a seriously dodgey number. They said they were from Direct Channel but the numbers don't come close to lining up. If this really is Direct Channel I urge everyone to spam them!

I just has a call from this number, and the lady welcomed me to MTN. I had just ported from Cell C to MTN. Maybe this will help
