I recieved 2 charges from OAN 7/30/08 and 8/4/08. OAN states they will credit the unauthorized charges and that remains to be seen. Verizon states they cannot remove the charges and will charge me a late fee if i refuse to pay the contested charges. My brother coincidentally made 2 calls to Bank of America however he was prompted to dial a 10 10 number which is handled by the same OAN company. the calls he made were on the same day not on different days like the charges i received and he hung up when the voice stated the charges neither did he authorize a charge.
Verizon did a block on my phone so no company can bill my phone. and i called OAN 800-892-8424 and had them block the access codes and numbers from my phone. I hope this works and helps

In an attempt to retrieve the balance on a gift card, I accidentally dialed 800 followed by the number instead of 888 followed by the number listed on the back of the gift card.  A message told me to call 1015158000.  I am glad I Googled it first to see it was a scam.  Thanks for your posts.

I also received a charge of $7.14 on my recent bill.  The phone company said to call OAN directly.  OAN said it was a mistake and will send me a check in 7-10 days.  I believe it was billed when we called back an 800 # we missed on a call.  What a scam!!!!!!!!!

I, too, tried to cancel the wu-yi tea and got the same thing. I am not paying for this tea. I'll cancel it on my credit card.  They'll get nothing more from me.  I also, would like to get a hold of this guy and tell him exactly what I think.  I think this whole thing is a scam and they need to be found and dealt with.

Someone named "name not clear" left message to call him at 1-866-691-3566. The recorded message stated to call 101-515-8000.
I just googled and found out this is a scam. This message was left on my work number, direct line which is not really published except internally.
I would like to know how they even got my number since it is a direct line.

Received a call from an 877# stating they were Western Union trying to reach my husband - I forwarded the call to him and they said that someone was trying to use his identitiy and that they needed to verify who my husband was beginning with what bank he used and the acct# - WHICH HE DID NOT GIVE TO THEM - when I did a reverse # search we came up with 1015158000 - tried to call but the number is continually busy and the 702-555-1212 (Nevada directory assistance had no clue what I was talking about) but here's the kicker - they actually had some verifiable personal information on my husband - but when I drilled the woman, I mean quesiton after question, before sending the call to my husband she kept placing me on hold and she was no where on the phone the next go around - it was a man - Their "operator numbers" were 205 and 215...  I am definately going to report to the FCC and FTC as well as all 3 credit reporting agencies and the monitoring system for fraud alerts...

On more complaint from Washington State
Just got my October bill in from Verizon. There is a charge from OAN Services, Inc on behalf of Calling 10 15 15 800 for an alleged Dir Assist call to 101 515-8000. I can't call anyone, today, because it's a weekend but come Monday, the following calls and actions will be completed. I'll call Calling 10 15 15 800 and OAN Services to advise them of the fraudulent charges and let them know payment will not be made. I will then call Verizon and tell them the same thing. I'll also tell them to disconnect my phone service. I've been hassled with wrong charges for 6 of the last ten months and I've had it. I'm switching to Magicjack (magicjack.com) and no phone bill...charges can't be tacked on if no bill exists. Maybe when the phone companies finally realize these frauds are costing them real money, they'll get off of their collective fat overpaid gluteus maximi and see to it that action is taken to shut these frauds down! I will also finish the last bit of info on the complaint I am filing with the Washington State Attorney General (did I contact the other party? etc).

Received my AT&t bill.  Had a charge for directory assistance on my bill from 101-515-8000 for $7.00.  I made no such call.  First time I have been scammed.  How are they doing it?

Rlioo Collection- I had a charge on my account also. I called my life insurance agent and discovered that RLIOO Collection is for a Reliastar Life Insurance account under ING Insurance. The amount withdrawn matched the amount of what my insurance payments should be. So, it's likely that your charge was for a quarterly or annual insurance policy.

    Hope that helps.

My elderly father-in-law just got a voicemail using his correct last name (but incorrect first name) telling him it was imperative that he call 800-355-0133 to speak with an attorney's office. He called the 800 number which told him to enter the 1015158000 for $5.49/minute. Luckily he hung up and called me but we will be checking his phone bill. I posted this scam call under the 800-355-0133 number as well.

I called "Kaiser Permanente" office in Northern California. (We deal with patient records.) I was then told to call the "10 15 15 8000" number but that there will be a $6.00 charge. I did not call but was wondering why they referred me to that number. I didn't go further and I hung-up.

In October I called GE at a 1-800 number about a warranty and was re-directed to 10-15-15-8000.  Last week I got my AT&T bill, $7.14 was added on.  Today I again called the 1-800 number and this time I got GE instead of being re-directed.  A scam to be sure.

Received a call from "Transcom Inc." at 303-532-3426 with a recorded message (which sounded like I'd picked up in the middle of the message) saying that "this is an attempt to collect a debt," never said from whom, should not be from ANYONE that I know of.  I tried calling Transcom back and got a recording that it "was not a working number," so apparently it is an 'outbound only' line for their computerized calls. Told me to call 1-866-862-1798, which connects me to another recording that plays over and over telling me to call the "101-515-8000" number and it will cost $5.49, that it is a "new national directory assistance service called 'Calling 10.'"  Then they gave the 702-555-1212 number (which I did NOT call either,) said they were on the internet at www.calling10.com.  I believe all the rest of you who labeled this as a SCAM--will have to watch my phone bill, although I did NOT dial their 'magic' "101-515-8000" number. Why doesn't someone DO something about this stuff??

I was trying to contact a legit number for the insurance company Liberty Mutual claims when I got this message saying that there's a new national number 101-515-8000. I forgot what the message said when I called, but was absolutely useless. I called from my job and today was told that a bogus charge had shown up on the business phone bill.
