Yes I kept getting text and voice calls from this number.  the message they leave is "Had this been a real emergencey...you would have received a call from the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES" and then the answering machine cuts it off.  I dont dare answer but it sure is persistant, which must be how they get busy/$$

we started getting calls from this number about 2 days after my dog had to be put to sleep suddenly, and every time we answer it they dont say anything back to us.. It doesnt call really often, so we came up with a nice theory that its a call from heaven :)

I actually answered the call today and it was from Advantage Marketing taking a poll. They wanted to know who I was going to vote for in the town election and what I considered to be the most important issue.

The caller wouldn't/couldn't tell me who had commissioned the phone survey. Kind of annoying! I asked to be placed on their do not call list.

Hi, my friend told me about a strange text message she recieved from an unknown number. So I looked it up and came across your post, it's the same message she got as you did. Do you know anything about this, like if it is a relly threatening scam?

same thing happened to me they left a messed up voicemail message
they call my house 5 times daily. i think i might just get rid of my phone entirely.

Starting about 4 days ago, we've received several calls.  Husband answered once, but no one there.  How do we get the FCC involved with this kind of nonsense??

I received a phone call from this number too...surprisingly they left an automated message on my answering machine claiming to be from "Allied Interstate" regarding a debt.  The automated message then asks for you to call back 866-429-7611.

We've also received calls from Allied Interestate where the call came in from: 775-319-1509 - and again - they want you to call them back at the 866-429-7611 number.  

After researching this company on google and the better business bureau website - we have found that Allied Interstate is a fraudulent company that scams people!  They are supposedly a collection agency - but their practices are extremely shady and half the time they aren't even valid.  Many states attorney generals have lawsuits pending against this company.

We got calls from this number three times (so far) this evening.  They seem to call like this every few weeks.  We haven't answered since the number looks sketchy and they hang up before the answering machine even picks up. So I took the advice of some posters here and went to file a complaint with the do not call registry.  But then I saw this on their website:

Reminder: Even if your number is registered, companies with which you do business may continue to call you. So may charities, political organizations, and telephone surveyors.

So I've read a few postings that said it was a National Opinion Poll (telephone surveyor) and a recorded call about politics.  So it would seem some of the callers using this number are indeed excempt from the do not call registry.  What a raw deal for the consumer!  I don't want calls from them either!

I take the call, usually they ask for owner, I change my voice pretend I am owner explain we have no money right now give us 6 months and try again. Most of times it has worked I get another call in 4 months. Better than fighting with the a@@ Holes

Just received a call from this number but did not answer because it looked suspicious however, it was a legitimate return call from Swissair whom I was expecting a call from.  Perhaps this is a number used when a corporation or customer service department does not want you to have a number to call back (????).  So, in my case, it was a legitimate number.

On April 19, 2009 and April 21,2009, got calls from 111 111-1111. Who is this? There is no answer on other end. So today when I got the call, I pressed the # sign for a long time and then hung up.

I just got a text message saying They heard about me, but there shy, so find them online on Friendsauna.org. When I go into Detail, it says its from "624-576-01482" .  Its really creepy. Does anyone know who it is or what?

Have received several calls from this number this morning. I do not answer calls I do not know.

I don't have caller ID but I dialed *69 after the call to get the number from the phone company.

This seemed like a legitimate call from a citizen's political action group called Louisiana Citizens for Lawsuit Reform, a non-profit according to the caller (female). They asked for my support for several bills in the Louisiana legislature to help make it easier for citizens to get justice in cases of exposure to toxic chemicals: HB220, HB225, and HB235.

They connected me to a state representative's office where I left a message. They did not ask me for a contribution or for confidential information, only to confirm my name and address, which is public anyway. I think this was a legit call, not a scam, but they seem to be using a generic phone number. The group may have contracted their calls to a calling service that uses that generic number.

i got a call from this number and it was a deep raspy voice that said i was going to be gang banged in 1 day and the rapers were going to steal my credit card and charge me for thier "services" even though i dont want their "services"

Today,they called,I answered,but right when Ipressed talk then they hung up.

YOu guys are just a bunch of liars. Nobody gets 10 calls in 30 minutes from the same number and they aren't calling you at 3 AM. There is good information on this site if it weren't for all you liars trying to one-up the other guy.
I answered the call and they wanted updated info on my business. I declined. They will call me again for the next few days and will finally give up. that's all. Quit lying.
