I also get alot of calls per day from this number which we didn't answer and no messages were left. My son said he called it back and it's just air sound. 780-665-3119 is also starting to call the last few days, I googled them and its the same problem - my guess is also that they are identity thieves.

I rcvd this call tonight (10/28/2007) at 8:28 while I was on the other line. I didn't pick it up. Authorities/Phone companies/ internet server  need to find where and who have these numbers. It's scary! and crazy..

I just got a call from "(123)456-7890 Unknown Name" but didn't answer it. They left no message. Hmmm?

The number has been calling almost daily for a week.  The male on the other end asked for me by my last name.  Not a big deal except that my number is unlisted so I don't know where they got my number.

I get these calls about 3 times a week now. I've answered it twice with no response, now I just ignore them but it's REALLY annoying.

ive recieved theses calls for sometime now , i answered the phone to it , and there was no answer.. then i was unable to use my phone for half an hour there was no dial tone and i was unable to recieve phone calls. i was pissed then til i started to say they [***] my phone up i cant make any calls , or anything , my phone went back to normal , i called my phone provider and everything. they could do nothing , and i called the police same response.

Caller ID out of area.  When I googled it one of the websites listed was a PseudEcom Corp. with a website still being worked on.  Wish I never opened it!  Can google recognize a virus website??  Is this one I'm using now to tell you about this a legit site??  Why type validation codes, what are they for??

I answered the call, and there was no answer. As I waited for someone to answer they stole my car from the driveway. Be careful, because these guys are good.

This number called me this morning asking for my parents and my mom picked up on the other line so i hung up but when she got off she told me not to answer that number again. she said she heard about this before. but anyways the guy was asking stuff about our phone like if we have caller Id or what not and he also mentioned something about airmailes and named his company but apparently he was talking so fast my mom didn't catch it.

I suspect it's someone calling from outside the country and being intercepted by homeland security or like organization. They were more frequent these two days then ever before.

BACKGROUND TO THE INVENTION

Telephone switching systems such a PABXs and central offices provide specialized applications, such as automatic call distribution (ACD) which distributes incoming calls among agents. Such systems can be used for answering inquiries as to departure or arrival times of aircraft, to take reservations for theater, aircraft, trains, etc., to take telephone orders, etc.

In such systems, when a subscriber calls a telephone number, such as an 800 or 888 number, the telephone system routes the call to an idle agent within a hunt group of agents accessed by the number. All agents within the group are accessible by the same number, but the system determines which agent has been the "longest idle agent" and routes the call to that agent.

U.S. Pat. No. 5,515,428, issued May 7, 1996, invented by Mark Sestak and Paul Erb, and assigned to Mitel Corporation, describes prior art methods and a new method for keeping track of idle agents and for identifying which agent is the longest idle agent. In such systems, when an agent is servicing a caller, the agent's line is marked as busy, and the agent becomes unavailable for other calls. Thus in the event another caller attempts to call the agent, the request is denied. this is what they do

this number just called i picked up, no one there.

They called me and asked for my account number. So I started to say ... I ... D ... 1 ... 0 ... T ... then said oh wait can u read that back to me. Once he realized that is read ID10T he got the hint and buggered off.

Could it be some internet calling thing, like Skype, and use random numbers to call anywhere in the world?

I've been getting phone calls from this number for more than a week now.  Thankfully, they've all come when no one has been at home (and my kids haven't been able to pick up either), but I'm curious so if I'm at home the next time they call, I'll answer and see what I get.

I'm glad I found this site, I've been searching this number for a couple of hours now! (a lifetime in the computer age)

Whomever this is, they've reached the prairies in Canada...I'm in Manitoba.

Keeps on calling No message left....

This number called at the exact same time last tuesday and woke me up both times...so annoying. I hope this doesn't become a weekly thing.

I'm in Toronto. After regularly getting calls from this number I finally picked up. It was Primus telemarketers trying to sell me a plan (they called it a courtesy call btw). I blasted them for hiding their identity and the calls stopped for about 3 days. Now it's back.
