they rang my granddad from number 1256789993 claiming to be IT INNOVATIONS and told him theyd received a signal that his computer was running slow (which it was) due to too much spam on his computer and they talked his through to check how how much spam was on his computer they talked him through a series of pop up boxes and he saw he had 1188 spam messages and then he deleted them (although he doesnt remember where he went on his computer he just followed the pop ups but is sure he didnt go on his email or log into it ) and then the man told him to log on to his bank so that he could make a payment of £160 for the service ... he did this and recevied a pop up and the man on the phone told him to click ok !!!!!!! at this point the man showed him hed got access to his computer on his bank site on his page and sed that hed got £900  in and would be fine taking this payment at this point he told he dint have that in and had he not seen that was overdrawn amount  and the man just left if at that. the police have been informed and the bank have also been told and hes had a computer tech come and clean up and check the computer and clean up anything that he mite of done.
its disgusting and ive seen on forums they are using legit company names and possibly a few numbers i an posting this on all the forums and im also emailing this to microsoft and any companies these scammers are claiming to be as they will be able to trace them i will see if there is any other numbers used along with this and also list them and any company names they are also using

Call your phone company and tell them to block the number.

Called me now 3 times today -- last time at 9:36.  Blocked their call after one time..................

"YOU ARE A TELEMARKETER, AND I DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ANY COMPANY THAT USES TELEMARKETING AS A FORM OF ADVERTISING" (stolen from a comment on this web site -- I love it).  And do not answer name unavailable ever as calls are now starting to say that often.  Another comment from this web site says: When you press the number to have your number removed, all you do is confirm that your number is a working one.  Now I either block the numbers or I don't answer the phone at all.  Another comment was:  They sold your known active number to another scammer!!!  That is what they do when you call them back to opt out.  SO DON’T HAVE YOUR NUMBER REMOVED!

Let me explain my idea of ROBO CALLS. Each area code has 9,999,999 numbers fyi (7 digits). The program starts calling every number that it can in succession.  So they don't need to buy or obtain lists from anyone.  I am going to copy and paste and post this info for each number that calls me for this web site (9,999,98 numbers more to copy and paste to)

NOTHING IS GOING TO STOP THESE SCAMMERS AND LAZY COLLECTION AGENCIES who call everyone with the same name instead of looking up the right one and all we can do is block them or use call forward selective..  DNC does not work when they are robo dialing all possible random numbers. The authorities can not or will not help either.

So, just block them, DON'T ANSWER UNKNOWN CALLS, and continue using this great site for information to be in control of your own home and cell phone calls.  If it turns out that you did not answer a call from someone you know (number not on this site), just call them back.  No problem.  It’s a lot of work that I do (checking the number on this web site, blocking the caller, and making my own excel spreadsheet of numbers) but at least I FEEL like I have a little control of the situation. Maybe I'm delusional.

These people call and it comes up as unknown on my caller ID.  They ask about my computer.  Just hang up!!!! I can't believe someone can't stop this nonsense.

Who are trying to pirate my computer,they are thief, they want my social security card. You know what I gave them access to my computer and now they have my IP, I don't know  what to do. Last night I had some information by internet that an other computer is using my IP.

Frequent calls from this odd number.....they even called at eleven thirty five PM last night...no answer when you answer the phone...occasionally you get a robotic sounding female voice that says good-bye...very annoying.....

Been getting a lot of calls from this number.  I have not answered it.  They hung on long enough to go to voice mail but left no message.

This is a SCAM artist.  Do not give them any information.

What upsets me is they called my cell & home no. & left the same message for my former brother in law and if this was not the same no. for him pass the message on. What??!!!!

Called June 27th 2013 1234567890 ID as unavailable. No message was left as I did not answer. Never answer calls I do not recognise.  Get smart computer users and leave these scammers to dissolve by themselves. This will happen if no one answers their calls. EVER. Do Not Call USA cannot help us because these scumbags are working from a basement in New Dehli India of some other untouchable location. 1234567890 has to be a dead give away for a scammer at work, how ludicrous,  but typical for these wogs.

I received a call from this number. A man with an accent told me that there was a problem with my windows program on my pc. He wanted me to get on my computer. I hung up but he called back with a 44-000-000-0000 number on my caller id.

Keeps calling every night.  Name Not Found 123-456-7890.  Haven't been answering

Got 2 calls about 5 minutes apart from 23-456-7895.  I cannot figure out how this shows up.  When I called it back, a tel. co. recording said incorrect number.  Very annoying-who is using this type of number to hide their identity?

Just got another call from same number. (23-456-78950  I answered it this time and a whistle or tone came on for about 5 seconds and a voiCe said "goodbye."  At least I hope that is what it said, at first it sounded like "go die!"

What are the possibles 4 numbers I can from 1234567890?

Today is the first time I remember seeing this number 123-456-7890.  I tho't there is no such number.  But I answered it.  No reply.  Waited a few seconds and a lady's voice said "Goodbye".  I know it's in the scam catagory but what good (or bad) can they gain, other than know that you answered it?

First time I ever received this call. I just picked up the phone and hung up without answering. It's a scam because there is no are code of 123. They must be using a fake phone number app. My brother has one on his android that allows a person to input the number he wants to show on the person's phone that he is calling. it only lasts a couple minutes though.

I received about three calls from this number (123-456-7890), whenever I answer no one answers , the worst thing is the calls comes in after 9pm and usually telemarketers don't call after 9pm, the only reason I answer is because I have friends and family abroad and sometimes they use calling cards that shows up with strange numbers.
